Cutting Edge Restoration

After reading the review posted let me clarify some things [redacted] from Cutting Edge did go out to the property and perform water detection I have over photos to prove it.im only allowed to up load In these photos you can clearly see the slab leak by the thermal imaging red showing hot water The blue is showing the areas wetAlso look at the moisture meater showing full saturationThe customer had a bad slab leakI'm really perplexed as to why she is writing a bad review on our company it truly is unjustifiedHer wall were soaked and if left untreated would of grew moldMost of my customers have insurance to cover the billIn addition to the demo that another company performed she wanted us to do the repairsWe declined this service since we were really busy with workThis brings up the point that if we lied just to do the repairsEvery thing the customer explained is this is a big reason we didn't do the repairs despite being busy with other workThe customer said several thousand dollars latershe never paid us a dime despite all the time my guy spent out there

This letter is in response to a dispute filed on my business, “Cutting Edge Restoration.” This complaint has come as a complete surpriseAfter more than eight years as a General Contractor I have never had a complaint before and I have always gone above and beyond to make sure my customers are fully satisfied with my workEven though I disagree with the complaint I am willing to resolve this issue by refunding the customer their out of pocket expense of $ I hope this issue can be resolved quickly and to every ones satisfactionPlease let me know if this solution is agreeable with the complainantSincerely David G***

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:
In addition to my initial complaint: The professional painter hired to repair and finish the job by Cutting Edge, was not able to successfully salvage the front door. (It was previously reported that MrG*** rolled paint on my metal front door) The door had to be replaced along with the frame. (Photos of attempts to strip the door are available).The total cost including replacement of shutters and door =$1, An itemized account along with photos, a testimony, and receipts are available
There are several mysterious razor like looking scratches on the body of the house (photos do tell) and I continue to find issues with uneven application on the body of the house
pairs of shutters also need replacing due to the damage done when they were installed without the correct hardware (no spacers were used and the shutters are dented and cracked)Also, the use of exterior house paint on vinyl will, according to Sherman Williams, peel in a short period of time.
MrG*** deducted one pair of shutters from his bill
Cost of painting and caulking = $
Cost of trying to repair front door = $
Cost of new door (as repair was not possibile) = $
Cost of labor to paint and install new door (to include the door frame) = $

Labor for rehanging shutters: $
