THIS COMPANY CHARGED ME *** FOR FREONCALLED THEM LESS THAN HOURS LATER THAT HOT AIR COMING OUT THE VENTS, KAREN OR SHANNON SAID TO ME THAT NO TECHNICIAN AVAILABLE TO COME OUT AT MY PROPERTY THAT I NEED TO CALL MY WARRANTY COMPANYCALLED MY WARRANTY COMPANY THEY SEND OUT ANOTHER COMPANY WHO FOUND LEAKS IN MY SYSTEMSPOKE TO THE OFFICE MANAGER CRYSTAL THIS MORNING AND SHE SAID THAT THE OWNER SAID TO THEM NOT TO SEND ANYONE OUT BECAUSE I REFUSED TO PAY 2-3% CREDIT CARD FEE FOR THE *** PAYMENTTHEY ONLY ACCEPT CASH AND CREDIT CARD WITH A FEE NO CHECKSTHIS WAS NEVER MENTIONED TO ME PRIOR TO SERVICE
THIS COMPANY IS A RIP OFF AND I NEED MY MONEY BACK, WHAT IF THEY CHARGED ME AND DID NOT ADD FREON KNOWING THE SYSTEM WAS LEAKING BADLY?

The problem that I called the company in to repair resulted in additional damage and an extended amount of time to resolve the problem
Six weeks later, the problem is still not resolvedIt took three visits over a week time span to properly diagnose the problem due to poor work on the technicians part Communication and follow up had to be initiated by my husband throughout the entire processThe supervisor, Karen, does not support the work provided by her technicians and exhibits no desire to provide quality customer service or even rectify incidents cordiallyThe company then refused to complete the job that we have been waiting an extensive amount of time for them to completeI have extensive damage to my ceiling and an incomplete service repair as a result of this company,

We were charged twice for a service call
On September 26, a technician from Cutting Edge Heating and Cooling came out to check our air conditioningThey were sent to us through our Home Warranty Service The technician checked everything and was very thoroughHe figured out what was causing the issue and took care of it At time of payment he ran my credit card for the agreed upon fee through the Home Warranty Service of *** He could not get a connection so he stepped outside to try to get a connection to process the payment He told me the connection worked the second time he swiped the card After he left I checked my bank account and there were charges for *** I immediately called the office and was told that they could not reverse a charge They could however speak to the office manager and have her send out a check to me for the second *** charge I was told the woman who answered the phone would call the office manager and have it sent out I aske

These folks were professional and courteousMy heat pump went out, and is twelve years oldThey had to order a part from *** and took care of the expedited shipping issuesThey were here twice, and both techs were competent, well trained, and had the tools and equipment to complete the jobTheir pricing was very fair, and the office staff did their best to keep me in the loop

BEWARE POOR CUSTOMER
Total Comfort was dispatched by *** Home *** to fix my HVAC system in rental condo in June There technician came and removed the door which is in front of the air handler even though he knew he was prohibited from doing so and corrected and repaired the HVAC He then exited the condo with out reinstalling the door My tenants made at least calls to the businsss requesting them to reinstall the door and they did not return calls or didn't seem to be bothered by the request I as the owner got involved and left a message with the business and called *** Home *** The business correct and reinstalled the door that day When the technician came out to reinstall the door he displayed an attitude to my tenants and was man handling the door and it took him approximately times to get the door installed correctly At some point while installing the door the bottom pivot point gouged the floor My tenants contacted me a few days later to

The company did not complete the AC repair, they have taken my money for freon and have not returned to fix the system since June
American Home Shield had placed a work order for a broken AC with Cutting Edge Total Comfort on May 27thA technician came on May 29th to run a test that required a week to check for a leakOn June 5th two technicians came out to address the leak, they determined that the line sets needed to be replaced and that they could not fix the leakAfter two days of calling for an appointment, I was given the date of June 15th to complete the repairsOn June 15th the same two technicians from June 5ths visit returnedThey replaced the line sets, added lbs of freon and checked the lines for leaks that there were no complicationsI paid the technicians with my credit card for freon costs that my home warranty would not coverAfter hours, the AC was still not workingI called the company and nobody answeredMy home warranty put in an expedited

Cutting Edge did not perform duct modifications during furnace install but refused to drop the charges for it
Cutting Edge Total Comfort was contracted by *** Home Shield *** to replace my furnace They stated that *** duct modifications (duct board) were required and would not be covered by the Home Warranty Before and after pictures as well as statements from technician prove no modification to duct was required nor performed Cutting Edge refused to drop the charge for the duct modification and I refused to pay for services not rendered so they removed the furnace and installed the old one which they left outside while it rained on it The ductwork modification was a lie by the vendor After I caught them in the lie they stated it was a standard charge and not related to modification but in reality they told *** it's a modification to duct so they were not bound by their agreed charges with *** and they could charge me knowing that I could not change vendors or get

On 6/14/at approximately 1:30pm a technician from Cutting Edge Heating and Cooling technician arrived to diagnose and repair our AC UnitNow mind you the warrant company sent another company mistakenly, (mistakenly due Cutting Edge being under warranty for the AC unit which they originally installed)out to diagnose the AC, Bell Cow HVAC gave us the following report which I have stating this" Checked the system and found the system has a restriction on TXV and the evap coil installed incorrectly and needs to be reinstalled and also found both service valves have leaks and need to be replaced need small person to access space for repairs to evap coil" which we have via emailI explained to him what there diagnosis was/ attempted to while he began work, he then proceeded to diagnose the problem at the external unitHe checked to see if

Awful customer service! After visits from the technician in months the problem was not resolvedSomeone laid a piece of fabric over the area in the attic to hide the fact they didn't fix the air conditionerNow I'm left to deal with extensive water damage to my homeShame on you Cutting Edge for your unprofessional behavior!

We were given Cutting Edge through *** *** *** home warranty
They were called on May to come and look at our system The man came and stayed maybe minutesSaid there was a leak in the air
conditioner system and he said he put a can of stop leak and refilled the unit with freon The system went down again in June and I called *** on the 18th of June It took days for them to come and look at the unit again It was diagnosed with the same problem as in May They could not work on the system that day further because it was too hot The system was shut down and they said they would return soon Two weeks later they returned During this time I called *** and Cutting Edge to inform them my husband had COPD and addition breathing problems They did nothingWhen they returned they determined that it was the compressor that needed to be replaced Of course the part had to be ordered It was another week before they came back to fix it It was a total of days from the June call and plus days from the May call The only saving grace was that the last repairman did everything he could to get the compressor back to us as soon as he had it and fixed the unit Thus the one star I cancelled my policy with *** and will never use them againAnd will never use the Cutting Edge again This summer has been the hottest we have had in a number of years With my husbands breathing problems there was no consideration for the need we had for the air to be back on

Cutting Edge Total Comfort has been totally professional with me from my initial phone conversation with their office to get a technician to my home for A/C help They have been on time, been totally courteous, and know what they are doing It is so refreshing dealing with a company that I feel I can trust I highly recommend their service to all others Do not hesitate to rely on this firm for your HVAC work Bob
