Dear [redacted],  Thank you for your letter of August 23rd regarding complaint ID [redacted], about Parma Heights Library.
The library's response is as follows:
The Parma Heights library...

staff worked with these customers to try and resolve an issue of materials that were returned heavily water-damaged. The manager spoke to them personally and tried-to respond to their concerns. The manager then provided a phone number to our Administration building so they could seek further assistance. Following that call to our Administration building, all fines connected to this incident were waived by CCPL. During the interaction at the Parma Heights branch, the juvenile customer resorted to using inappropriate language and behavior. At this time, the juvenile is restricted until he and a parent meet with our library security team.
Sincerely,
Nicholas C[redacted] — Parrna Heights Library branch manager
