Contractor rejects customer's proposed solution. The customer wants the contractor to look at the work, but in a previous message, the customer said that he (the customer) re-did the contractor's work. Based on the customer's statements, there is nothing for the contractor to look at

All address's entered into this order were provided by the clientChange address requests were done by the client as well, and he advised that the house number on the street address was incorrect againThe client has options at this point...Either pay $for pick of all the part, and we will
have them picked and delivered to correct addressOr he can call UPS and schedule pick up for all the tracking numbers from the delivery addressWe attempted to file a lost package claim for him, but there is no need, since the packages are not lost. Carid is not responsible for the chargeHowever in the interest of customer satisfaction, we will attempt to have this pick up done, and cover the the $fee, but if the items are not retrievable by UPS, we will be unable to issue a refund or a replacement

I am rejecting this response because: The only reason I bought the grille was to fit the body kit that their representitives ensured me would all fit my vehicle I bought the grille to fit the body kit that DOES NOT fit my vehicle So the part is useless to me Now they are saying that I am at fault because the grille was for a hatch back How was I supposed to know that because they picked of the body kit that this specific grille fits in to I asked them what grille would fit the body kit they selected for me and the representitive said that the grille I had chosen would fit Bottom line the shipping to *** was very expensive and cost almost as much as the grille itself so I believe because of the mistakes they made on the body kit that the grille I bought fits in to that they should refund the shipping price as well Their representitives are very misleading and every single part I have ordered has been wrong

he hold the package for to daysHe only needs to hold it until UPS comes to pick it up and inspect itThat normally takes to business days from the time the claim is placedFurthermore, the refund that was requested will not take to business days eitherOnce the package is picked up by UPS, we can proceed with the full refund as requested

The pictures attached by the client do not show that the hood is not square When looking at the pictures please take note that the hood must be adjusted to sit properly You can see in the picture that the drivers side corner up near the window is lower then the fender and needs to be adjusted upwards Conversely the front drivers side portion of the hood needs to be moved down All evidence provided by the client shows that this hood needs to be properly adjusted to fit

It is interesting to note here that the business made no attempt to satisfy me when I called, and continues to quote their business process, which is inherently unfair to the consumer The consumer buys a part from them and then makes arrangements to have the vehicle serviced Labor costs are incurred by the consumer as soon as the vehicle is on the lift If the part cannot be used, then the consumer is forced to do something else, but the labor cost is still incurred The business doesn't want this part back because they don't wish to acknowledge that they function under an unfair business process, and that their part was sold under advertising (fits all Dodge Magnums) The customer is lured into buying a part that the business knows cannot be used, and then they don't accept return when a portion of the part can be used, even though they carry the portion we used (a rubber boot) and could attach it to the product, which provides them with a complete new product that could be sold to some other unsuspecting customer I get it BUYER BEWARE!!!!!

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because it seems as if *** at CARid didn't even read the complaint, let alone address shortcomings. Now in addition to my original gripe about the company, please see the attached e-mail I received this morning. Someone at CARid has offered me $to change my review on a product website. Is this ethical? Doesn't this taint the entire reasoning behind customer reviews? To recap the original complaint:It was specifically regarding their process for returns on defective merchandise.In addition to being told the item was being shipped before Christmas, when it had not.I spent well over minutes on the on the phone the day after the item was meant to be delivered, to learn that the product was out of stock.I received a DEFECTIVE product days later than promisedI had to jump through hoops to get a resolution (on a defective product) The verbiage of being told they are “working on an exception” so I can get a refund! You must grant me an exception to give me a refund on a defective product?Again, please see the attached e-mail offer: “Also, please allow me to go further and offer you $partial refund on top if you choose to revise the review that you left.” Unbelievable
