CVS Pharmacy-- Store ID 18100

Today, I arrived at CVS about 15 minutes before closing to pick up my prescriptions that were already filled and waiting for me. When the clerk was getting ready to hand me my prescription, I asked her if it was name brand. I have gotten this same script filled for over a year at the same pharmacy and I request name brand only just for this one. She said, 'no" I asked her to ask the pharmacist to fix it. She said they were about to close. I said I have been waiting for 15 minutes, and I arrived before closing and I need to right medication. I asked to speak to the pharmacist, and he absolutely refused to fill the correct prescription and stated that they are closed I told him I have been waiting and was here before closing and that he made a mistake in filling my prescription. He said he didn't care and was not going to fill the correct prescription. The whole time I was talking to the pharmacist the clerk was over talking him stating she was going to close the window and asked me if I wanted the incorrect prescription. I was livid told her no and asked the pharmacist if he puts leaving over filling the right prescription he said yes. CVS filling the wrong medication for me has happened so many times and they have to refill the right one for me. Once I took the wrong medication for a month and I noticed that it was not effective, so I scheduled an appointment with my primary care physician to possibly change medications. but before my appointment I thought I should go to the pharmacy to ask if they gave me the name brand or the generic and he said the generic. So, I had taken the wrong medication for a month, noticed the drastic difference, called my doctor scheduled an appointment only to find out they gave me the wrong medication. I will be transferring all of my medication to a different pharmacy, reporting this pharmacy to the Board of Pharmacy, BBB, and here and wherever else I can. This is a serious quality control problem and a serious health hazard. Please if you have loved ones especially elderly loved ones, please take your medications to a different pharmacy. The CVS on Clark Ln is not trustworthy, your health and life is not worth a little bit of convenance, rude and uncaring staff, who doesn't care. Please transfer your medications immediately.
