Joe and Vince really went the extra mile for me, literally! They agreed to come up to Cape Charles on the Eastern Shore to clean and inspect my year old chimneyThey were on time, put down tarps from the front door all the way to the fireplace to protect my floors and rugs, and answered all my questions while they workedJoe stood on a ladder about feet up in the air with wasps swarming around him as he cleaned out an old bird's nest from the top of my chimneyThey identified some long standing problems with my boiler flue and made recommendations for the proper fixI'm very happy with their work and will definitely use them againIf you have an older home, these guys know what they are doing

Joe and Vince of Chimney Checkers arrived on the date and time as specified and went to work immediately They removed a damaged chimney cap and bad mortar crown; they rebuilt the mortar crown, added clay tile and attached a new chimney cap They resealed flashing and applied a water seal They were very professional, hard-working and cleaned up the entire work area They were very honest about what they thought would work to remove some stains that were present in the interior of the fireplace and did not try to sell me a product that would not work It was a very pleasant experience and I would highly recommend them

My husband and I hired Chimney Checkers to rebuild our fireplace inside and out this past winter. They came over and gave us a fair quote on what we needed done. They took all the old fire bricks on the inside of the fireplace and replaced with new firebricks. They put a new flu with a change that could open and close it. Our other one was broken. They put a new cap on the top of the roof. The fireplace was well worth what we paid for it to be fixed. We are in the process of selling our home. The cap blew off in a big storm. We called them and they were over within minutes to take care of that. They also looked at an issue that they found about the flash guard and bare nails free of charge for us. Today we had to get a letter from them to give to the buyer of the home so they knew that we did what we said we would do. They were very polite and helpful. We would refer them to our friends. We have already done that to our next door neighbors and posted it on facebook. Thank you very much.

Joe stood on a ladder about 50 feet up in the air with wasps swarming around him as he cleaned out an old bird's nest from the top of my chimney. They identified some long standing problems with my boiler flue and made recommendations for the proper fix. I'm very happy with their work and will definitely use them again. If you have an older home, these guys know what they are doing.

My first comment for Chimney Checkers is WOW! These guys are top notch! Inlive in Franklin Va and they came from Va Beach...not once but twice. The 1st time to do the annual insoection and ckeaning and another because I had a situation. The quality of work and pricing of the job was persfect for the job they had to do. Every phone call taken or retuned promptly if they were in the field and could not answer. If you need Chimney work Call these guys!
