Review: I have a loan with this company. The payments are to be debited from my bank account on the 1st and 15th of each month, which are my paydays. They have repeatedly taken payments on the wrong days, causing me overdraft fees with my bank. I have called them directly numerous times to get the dates fixed, they tell me it is fixed but always have an excuse and never correct the problem. The payments are still pending in my account when I call but they claim they cannot reverse them. I have talked to my bank and because it is a recurring charge, they cannot fix it either.Desired Settlement: I have incurred several overdraft fees because of Cashwell and I want to be compensated for those. I am prepared to show my bank records for proof. I also want my payments debited on the correct date.

Response:
May 30, 2014Dear Ms. Horne,This responds to your letter of May 20 regarding a complaint (ID [redacted]) by [redacted] of [redacted], SC. [redacted] said payments for his installment loan were repeated not debited on his twice-monthly pay days of the 1and 15. [redacted]' pay days are unusual, and currently outside of the parameters of our loan management system. To address this issue requires extensive code work, which is underway but will take some time to complete, test and launch. We will alert [redacted] as Soon as we are able to automatically debit his payments on his pay dates, versus the manual System we are using for the time being.A Customer Service Representative has previously spoken a few times to [redacted] - the last was a couple of weeks before [redacted]' lodged the complaint – to communicate our need for the time beingto make manual adjustments to his pay dates, and to apologize when the manual approach has not worked. On May 20, we reached out to [redacted] to arrange reimbursement for any NSF charges he has incurred. Please note that we do not have a record of [redacted] mentioning his having incurred NSFcharges during earlier discussions, so we assumed incorrectly that [redacted] and his bank were in accord. Please contact me with any questions.Regards,
