Customer was told remainder of money could be store credit..he did not want credit.Attached is a copy of our posted policy

We sold Mr*** a set of smoked tail lights for his truck and he picked them up and installed them himself The lights were purchased Feb12, He came by office with an email from the manufacturer (***) and said they told him to bring lights here for us to return them as
defective, which in fact were not defective The customer simply did not like the way the lights blinked, and this being after the second resistor that he again installed himself The customer feels like he should have been refunded all of his money I was told by the manufacturer that the warranty is only good for days The customer would have to return lights directly to *** to get a complete refund, but he wanted us, CW Tint, to return them We have a policy that if merchandise is installed by outside source we only give store credit and that includes a 35% restocking fee The responsibility of the return and the shipping charges were taken care of by CW Tint The customer called several times within the time of releasing the lights to us and on several occasions was very rude I explained about the return process and he continued to call being rude The customer was issued a refund against store policy for the cost of lights and is a previous customer and knew the shop policy.Thanks,CW Tint

I am rejecting this response because:
TThis is not true I contacted *** the manufacturer and they advised to to replace the resistors and after the second time the resistors went out the manufacturer told me to return to the place where I purchased them cw tintI had email that they were defective the lights would ca use my truck to have a turn signal failureIt tool over a month to get a partial refund from cwTint I would call and check on them and would continously get lied too I had to contact *** *** company myself to get the refund and after it was sent it still took 2-weeks I called cw and they supposition didn't have check but I contacted *** *** and check had been cashed and same day I miraculous the check arrivedI wasn't satis fed with hoe cw was handling it but only the secretary would talk to me and not the ownerIn my opinion very puss poor customer service I will not be doing business with them and in the future will steer anyone I know from doing business with themVery unprofessional to refuse to speak with the customer. *** ***
