Review: My husband and I entered into contract with [redacted], who stated he was the [redacted] of C & Y Home Improvement. We signed the contract with him Novemeber*, 2013. Per his contract he would be completing the replacement of a full bathroom in accordance with the plans and drawings by November **, 2013. We have paid him a total of $8650 as of November **, 2013. (which was the payment plan according to the contract). November **, 2013 was also his last day of work. He avoided our phone calls, and requests for money returned, for approximately 2 weeks. He finally called on December **, 2013 and spoke to my husband. He advised us at that time that the money we have paid him to purchase the materials to complete the bathroom was spent on his own "personal matters". He advised within a week he would be able to purchase the remaining materials, (he stated he would be receiving a check and would be able to replace the money he spent of ours to purchase the remaining materials and complete the job. As of today January **, 2014 We haven't heard from him; our calls, texts and certified letters(which were sent December **, 2013) have not been responded to.Desired Settlement: We would like to receive a refund of the money for the material and labor needed to complete the job.

Hello, Please process this complaint. To date I have not had any communication with [redacted] or C & Y Home Improvement. I also have a recent posting from them from craigslist showing that they are still attempting to solicit business last month.
