Beware of phone calls from Microsoft Certified Technician from CyberSecurities.US.

Whatta Scam!!! Do not fall for it.

Sep 06, 2014 I got a call from someone who identified himself as Microsoft Certified Technician working on this hacking project with Micrisoft. In the end it turns out to be from from Cyber Securities, Bridgeport, Connecticut, (XXX) XXX-XXXX, that he was a contractor for Microsoft, and that they had gotten reports that my computer IP was being hacked and someone was trying to take over my machines and use them to do illegal things. Very convincing as he makes you open system folders : eventvwr and msconfig via the run command and then shows how there are errors in the subfolders and Services are disabled.
Then comes the catch about logging into www.cybersecurities.us and having them clean up everything.
Keeps calling back.

Shady, yet now dead: once upon a time this website was reported to be associated with Cyber Securities, but after several inspections we’ve come to the conclusion that this domain is no longer active.
