Dear Revdex.com, I recall the purchase from Mr. [redacted] and subsequent service appointment. He contacted us shortly after his purchase to notify us that the sunroof area was wet and wondered if we could look at it. The dealership made an appointment immediately and inspected his car. Upon inspection...

it was discovered the drain holes in the valley under the roof were partially plugged with dirt and debris. To insure an appropriate repair, we sent the vehicle to [redacted] in Waukegan, where we've done business for approx 20 years, to have their expert opinion as well and effect the repair. [redacted] did confirm and make the repair.  As for a timing cover leak, we inspected the car for it here. The timing cover area was bone dry, showing no evidence of any leak, seepage, oil residue anywhere. Once we were completed with this inspection and the sunroof inspection/repair, the car was returned to Mr. [redacted]. The complaint to your office is the very first time we have head of this since he purchased the car. It is important to note that myself, nor anyone at the dealership has heard from Mr. [redacted] since a week after his purchase for the repair. Not a word. Also, Mr. [redacted] came to the dealership on 06/22/2017 to pick up his license plates and at that time made no mention of anything listed in his complaint.   Additionally, with all the recent rain and flooding in the area, we don't know where this car has been or have been, involved in any flooding event, and again, been informed by Mr. [redacted] that the sunroof area still remained to have a problem anytime after his appearance at our dealership on 06/22/2017.  I would be happy to take Mr. [redacted]'s car in for service and try to re-address his concerns regarding any wetness around the sunroof and inspect the engine again for a timing cover leak. He can contact me directly at the dealership to set an appointment at ([redacted].  Regards, [redacted], GMJack-Son Auto Sales Inc.
