I am a year Motorcycle owner and hobbyist.I have had serious issues with my
bike in that time and feel fortunate to have been recommended to cycle concepts by two close friends that ride.The team at Cycle concepts found upon my first yearly inspection that my tires had Dry Rot and needed immediate replacement.The second year I was in need of serious repairs to my charging system.It had failed me miles away from home.Not only did the diligent staff at the shop perform all the necessary troubleshooting and repairs they even picked up the bike for a minor fee to assist me as a customer.This is a family owned shop and I cant believe the professionalism and
skill of the Mechanic team.They are very direct no nonsense experts that work on a variety of makes and models of bikes and put your safety on your bike as their highest priority

Customer gave company a check that was bounced, it was no good. It is illegal to give a bounced check and customer can be prosecuted for fraud. If you need a copy of the check we can provide. We told the customer and the customer did not respond for over 3 weeks. We will not work on a bike...

unless there is enough money due to reduce loss.

Review: I have taken my motorcycle for repair towards the end of March, 2014 to Cycle Concepts Of New York Inc. It has been more than 3 months that my motorcycle is in this shop. For the past 5 Fridays he has been promising to give me my motorcycle back but every time I go to the shop to pick up he comes with a new excuses. He gets nasty makes nasty remark. Hide or leave the shop when he sees me coming. His excuse is that he is really busy and he will call me when he is done. I gave him an option that he can me the as it is and I will get it fixed. He got mad and asked me to leave his shop.

I want to the local precinct to report against him. They told me they will get me my motorcycle back but I can not to other shop because they afraid to touch a bike which was previously worked by a different mechanic. I am really stuck at this point. I need some advice or helpDesired Settlement: I have the receipt when I gave him the 1st deposit. I can provide on which was 4/*/2014

Review: I went to inspect my motorcycle and they would not do it because I did not buy my new back tire from them nor did I have them do the labor.Desired Settlement: I would like an apology and I would want them to do my inspection. Why wouldn't they do it? It's not like it does not pass inspection.

On Saturdays, we only do inspection by appointment only. We do not have a full staff, and the technician that does inspection does not work every Saturday of the month and works random hours. The customer came to our business on a Saturday after 2pm, and no technician was available. We conduct inspection Monday-Friday after 6pm, he can return and we will provide him with an inspection.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The business is lying. I went there on a Monday at about 8-830 pm (In their response, it states they only do inspections M-F after 6pm which is clearly the time I was there). I spoke to [redacted] and he flat out told me the he refused to do my inspection because I had some work done at a shop that doesn't provide inspections. I had my rear tire and chain replaced at a shop that was not theirs or affiliated with them. I told him had the shop where I replaced my tire and chain done inspections I would have rightfully done it there. Since they did not do inspections, I went to them. He still refused to do it.

If they still would like to do my inspection, I would like it done for free as I stated in my initial complaint.

We do not provide inspection for free. We will accommodate a paid inspection. If the customer is not satisfied with our response he can obtain an inspection at any authorized inspection station. We are sorry for any miscommunication.

Review: I paid for my motorcycle to get repaired and the original quote was for 600usc when I picked up the bike the bill was over 1400 usc and the [redacted] said he had to replace a few things and make sure the bike is running properly and pass the inspection for nys. I pick up the bike and drove it home after I paid. the next day on my way to work the bike broke down on me and I then called the shop that day and said I thought you repaired the bike and after what I paid the bike should be running like new.. the shop [redacted] then said to me I might be something else I also told him the left front turn signal is not working how can it pass an inspection ? which he also charged me for.. I feel the shop over charged me not only on parts but also the bike was not properly fixed. I have the past copies of the bill that some of the work he charged me was done alreadyDesired Settlement: I would be happy to pay for parts but not at the inflated amount he charge and then the matter would be resolved I had to fix the bike at another shop and had to have the bike towed as well. the [redacted] of [redacted] told me the bike was not repaired properly nor was the wiring done I paid over 500usc for the bike to be re-repaired
