Cycle Joint Reviews (1)

My name is Tammy [redacted]. I own and operate a very small business that deals in motorcycle parts and servicing. Mr. [redacted] and I have never meet. We have a mutual friend that had given him my number because he was looking to purchase mufflers for his Ducati. I took Mr. [redacted] information and...

worked on registering my business with two different companies in order to help Mr. [redacted] find what he needed. I did register with [redacted]. I did and still do have an issue with this company. They were a relatively new business and when I originally contacted them and signed in online they were having difficulties with their web site and I had to place my order with them over the phone. Mr. [redacted] was an exception to the rule as how I normally do my business. After I registered with the company for his mufflers he requested that I mail his mufflers to an address of a friend in Niagara Falls New York because he actually lives in Canada. I made an exception and provided all info over the phone to [redacted]. Literally months went by before I heard back from Mr.[redacted]. He stated no package was ever received at his friend's residence. I did call [redacted] myself. I went out of my way to register as a dealer with this company for Mr.[redacted]. After looking into things they somehow can not find me or my order but I can log onto their site. If you call and ask them for my company's info they say they never heard of me. I did all my work over the phone with them and can provide call records if needed. This is not a typical order, I do not normally order things for customers and ship to different addresses. It wasn't until after I did much work was I informed he lived no where near me and wanted the order shipped. Our mutual friend is a very good customer of mine and I still regularly do business with him. I go out of my way to make my customers happy and feel like they are treated fairly. After looking into things I said regardless of issue with [redacted] I should have known better to order something like that in that manner. I told Mr. [redacted] give me a little bit of time and I would refund his money and take responsibility for the matter. I asked that he be patient as I no longer do banking with same bank and that I am a seasonal business ( no one in Buffalo rides a motorcycle in winter). That was fine with him. I did send two money orders out in June. One was to [redacted] and other a payment to Mr.[redacted]. Both those money orders never made it to their destinations.I had left them in my mail box at road with flag up. My business is located in an area with a huge increase in break ins and drug activity. I had to call police about a break in in which property was stolen from my building. Due to this I do not keep cash at my shop. I do not send out money orders and if I do I drop off at post office now. Mr. [redacted] decided he wanted the mutual friend to pick up payment. Twice I had payment here and twice his arrangement did not show to pick up the payment. I asked that Mr. [redacted] give me at least 24 hour notice when he would send Mike ( the gentleman that was to pick up his refund payment) because I don't have cash on hand due to neighborhood issues. Mr.[redacted] last said he himself would be out then did not show but called a half hour before he had Mike stop at shop. I could not give him what is not here and I am a small business with no employees. Its not like I can leave and run to bank three towns away and close my shop down. Mike G. is tired of Mr. [redacted] sending him and I agree. I told him I would now look into western union of payments. This way my good and loyal customer is not being put in middle by his out of town friend. Mr. [redacted] was mad that I didn't have payment and didn't like the western union idea.I thought it would have been perfect solution for both parties. Mr. [redacted] is leaving out the fact that recently when he tried to contact me it was at odd hours. Example: messages at 1am. I do not keep late hours and my phone is turned completely off at night. Mr. [redacted] was insisting I ignored him. 1am messages or 11:30pm emails are just not seen right away and cross a line in my opinion. I tried to work with this man and never said I would not refund money after things didn't work out. I can still log into that company but even when I call them they can not find my order.I have no reason to not refund the money and had payment here on more than one occasion. It's not my fault that more than once no one showed and we both agree I was not ever again mailing anything to this man. I have a few interesting semi threats from Mr.[redacted]. I told him if he felt the need to call Revdex.com on me than so be it. I am tired of bending over backwards for this man. Again I thought the western union idea would have been a perfect solution for us both. [redacted] Sincerely, Tammy [redacted]
