Customer called about having a problem with a treadmillUpon arrival she said that she didnt want to spend alot of money because she was moving and was going to leave the treadmill behindI spent over an hour trouleshooting the machine and came to the conclusion that the part she needed was over

Review: My treadmill broke and I found Cycle Service on [redacted]. A man called me back and scheduled a service visit. he said it will cost $140 to diagnose and if another visit will be needed, it will be $60 plus cost of the parts to be replaced. He spend half an hour with my treadmill, said he knows how to fix it. He said he might have a part in his shop and if not, will call a manufacturer and find out how much does that part cost. I paid $140. He said he will call me in 2-3 days. It is 2 months later and I still didn't hear from that man. I called numerous times and left numerous messages, but no response. Therefore, I decided to file a complaint. This business is a fraud to collect $140 per service call and do nothing. I don't want other people to be fooled.Desired Settlement: I would like to get my $140 back.

I spent over an hour trouleshooting the machine and came to the conclusion that the part she needed was over $500 (console).Since she did not want to spend anymore money turns out ,the treadmill was not worth fixing anyway. She could buy a new one for the amount of money she was going to spend on this one. I told her that.Every service call we request $140 for travel,troubleshooting. Once we determine the failure the customer has the option to go ahead and fix the machine or decline to fix the machine. Either way it is a $140 charge per call. If we need to order parts, we return @ $50 labor charge plus what ever the part cost. This person did not want to spend that kind of money just to leave the treadmill behind. I agree. I have been in business over 10 ye ars and have come across customers that dont want to spend the money to fix their treadmill,,however they still pay the initial charge and are fine with it.
