I took my boat to cyclewerks sports to get bottom hull fixed of any gouges/scrapes/damage, and to repaint/gel coat bottom and top, check all gauges, get engine / outdrive in good running condition, install a [redacted] top, repair existing or new trailer build, install 2 bucket seats and 1 bench seat. I just bought the boat recently and wanted it safe enough to take my 2 children in. I picked the boat up yesterday and boat is sitting on the cross members of trailer and not bunks, there are scratches all over underside of the boat, underside incurred damage due to boat being water tested and scraping trailer beams and not sliding on bunks, runs in paint in numerous places, hull has numerous dents from improper application of fiberglass resin. I took to a local fiberglass repair shop and was given a $3,000 quote for damage to hull and repair due to improper painting. The owner of cyclewerks told me he accidentlly rammed the boat into the front brace of the trailer and broke part of the brace as well as scratched up hull. He explained that he would fix it next time I brought it in, he also said they would fix the runs in the paint as well next time I brought it in. I was given a tote with all of my cleats, rails, radio, boat accessories that should have been re-installed on the boat after painting complete. 2 new tires and rims were put on the boat, but I am missing lug nuts, the front bucket seats were installed on top of the antennae that should of been mounted to the hull. I am taking the boat to the shop to get the engine checked out but from what I can visually see the air filter is missing from engine, the lower unit cavitation plate was damaged badly, trim motor not attached to boat and laying on side with wires dangling that should be connected to it, another part of engine not bolted down as well. Two circular discs on either side of lower unit not attached just dangling. The boat was in better condition when I brought it in to his shop. I paid cyclewerks $7,000... I will get another company to fix it... Cyclewerks needs to pay for all damages and refund me for work not done but stated as done.
