Wow I had no Idea so many people were having these problems
Well Ive been expeiencing constant flat tires in the rear of the board there seems to be no give in the suspention at all I've been constanly emailing support They have been responding though and they have sent me multiple replacement tires free of charge. I have asked about the stifness in the back suspention wether it could be causing the tires to go flat but They've been down playing it saying it'll break itself in after a while. But mean while I've order some slime and flat tire fix kit hoping that will sove the issue. the last inner tube I put on it still went flat even though there's no hole in it. I don;t understand I'm scratching my head why is this constanly happening.

Love the Rover. It feels very safe and sturdy. It's easy to ride and has a good battery life.

I'm an early rider on Cycleboard as I bought 2 of the Gen1 Elite boards during the Kickstarter campaign in 2016. They were easy & fun to ride, and definitely nothing out there like it. Since then my kids have inherited these boards which have had very little maintenance, besides bleeding the brakes which is easy. I'm being 6'6" and 280 pounds riding the Gen1 Rover, but looking to give the wife my Gen1 Rover and get a Gen2 Rover for me to add to our fleet. Super happy customer, and this has allowed us to ride as a family to enjoy at home and on trips.

I'm a Current Soldier over seas. I decided to purchase one because, well....I wanted to pamper myself with this expensive gift. After looking at the sites and seeing you-tubers. I wanted to buy one. It looked like so much fun. I'm from the city and I don't always feel like walking or taking public transport. I thought this would be a cool way of getting around. I notice that, 1) That the site had the next available ship date would be Aug 15th which is tomorrow for you guys. I pre-Ordered on the 4th of July. I've been a little hesitant with my decision because, well the lack of information on the page. The account you have is not really an account at all I've noticed. I would expect a "Your order is being put together email. thank you for your patience." So I decided to call tonight, to cancel my order, And I did not get the best customer service. Two people answered the phone in a bothersome manner. The called dropped so I had to call back. The first was female and I felt very rushed by her and the other was male and he seemed really bored with life its self. they took down my email and cell phone, but not my order number. I'm now really upset because that was 2,153.90 of my hard earned money. I read all of your reviews. I just really want my money back.

I was very excited to finally find a scooter that was in stock and had the specs that I was looking for. When I needed assistance with sales questions the team was very responsive and helped me get my order placed with a commitment to ship it out the same day. That was 3 weeks ago (Mind you they are in California and I am in the Midwest) and since then the responsiveness has been abysmal and my scooter is nowhere to be found. A label was in fact created the same day however FedEx claims they’ve never received a shipment and cycle board is pointing fingers that FedEx has it and due to Covid is not processing tracking appropriately. At this point I’ve requested to cancel my order but cannot get any responses and I wish I had taken the other negative reviews more seriously but I was just so excited about the opportunity to get a scooter during this pandemic that I had a lapse in judgment. I’m sharing this review to prevent you from doing the same. I can only imagine what it would be like should the scooter arrive and need any type of support. For something that cost over $2000 I expect much much more!!!

Ordered a board from them. High end $2400 model. I was first told that I would have to wait for the model and color I wanted until Sept and then they offered me a different color than I wanted, plus fenders for free to make up for it,. That model they could ship immediately.

July 2, I received notification that it shipped, but the FedEX tracking number was not active. I emailed customer service weekly until I asked for somebody to call me on the phone.

24 days later, all they could do was reimburse me and tell me the board still might show up (I bet it doesn't) and that my order and "a few others" were lost. (yea, right)

This was meant for a birthday present and I had to scramble to make that happen with a replacement gift.

I wish I thought to do more research on them before purchase. I had this same experience with a hoverboard company a few years ago. These guys make this stuff in China and get ripped off by their manufacturer's then pass the buck on to their customers.

Beware of Cycleboard.

Do not do business with Cycleboard.
This company is an absolute scam and I feel embarrassed for myself for falling for it.
I ordered a Cycleboard Gen 2 Rover and received it. After a few weeks with it, I was informed by local police that it was not street legal and would need to be registered with the ***. Not wanting to go this trouble, and not enjoying the scooter much anyway, I inquired about a return given that, at the time, the Cycleboard website advertised riding their product "risk free" with a 30 day return policy.
Upon asking to initiate a return, I was told that I had to state in email that I understand their return policy, send photos of the scooter, and then was told to ship the scooter back.
Unbeknownst to me, you need to apply for specific Hazmat documentation when shipping this product. I packaged the scooter up as it had been shipped to me, took it to ***, paid almost $300 to ship it, and the product was returned to me the next day. Cycleboard gave no guidance about this Hazmat documentation that would be required and I believe they should have.
At this point, it would have been impossible to get the board to Cycleboard within their 30-day window as it was over Memorial Day weekend and shipping was slow due to Covid 19.
Now, the steering mechanism on the board is starting to stick and get squeaky and it is clear the overall build of the scooter is extremely poor, and you're seeing stories across the internet of people trying to get customer support from Cycleboard but getting no responses.
This company is a scam, Phil L is a scam artist.

Dear Customer, we are disappointed in your complaint as it is not an accurate representation of our company and products. We build great products and have thousands and thousands of customers and support every one of them. Our 30 day return policy is clearly stated on our website, but we will still allow you to return your board to us even though it is past our 30 day return period, just contact *** to initiate the return process. Since the CycleBoard is an electric scooter and contains a lithium-ion battery, a class 9 dangerous goods label is required on the shipping box so you can either use the shipping box that it came in or if you don't have that box anymore then you can print the class 9 label online, it's very easy. The squeak that you mentioned on your steering is easily fixed as well, just contact us at *** and we will assist you. We are here to support your CycleBoard with any needs that you may have, you have a comprehensive 1-year manufacturers warranty and parts and service available after the warranty period as well. It seems Phil L has decided to compromise good customer service to defend defective merchandise. Such a shame.. Not a good reflection of the company at all. Would not recommend.

GOT MY GEN 2 ROVERS WHAT A SCAM THEY SENT ME DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE. BOUGHT TWO OF THESE AND THEY HAD MISSING PIECES, BROKEN MONITOR, FAULTY BATTERY, MISSING REAR FENDER, WHAT A DISASTER. OUR THROTTLE STICKS WHICH MAKES THIS PRODUCT SUPER DANGEROUS! NOT TO MENTION THAT THESE WEIGH MORE THAN I DO! OVER 100 POUNDS FOR EACH ROVER THIS IS THE HEAVIEST ELECTRIC SCOOTER I HAVE EVER SEEN. WHEN I ASKED TO RETURN THE TWO ROVERS THEY WON’T SEND ME THE RETURN LABELS I HAVE ASKED THREE TIMES! AFTER SENDING MULTIPLE PICTURES OF THE BROKEN/DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE, PHILIP LABONTY BASICALLY CALLED ME A LIAR AND ASKED ME TO TAKE A VIDEO OF THE THROTTLE STICKING!! ARE YOU KIDDING HOW DO I EVEN DO THIS WITHOUT KILLING MYSELF YOU ARE ASKING ME TO TAKE A VIDEO WHILE RIDING IT TO SEE IF THE THROTTLE STICKS - HOW CARELESS AND INSULTING CAN YOU BE?! THIS IS A SCAM BUSINESS DO NOT BUY THE GEN 2 ROVERS, I ALSO AM COPIED FOR SOME REASON ON OTHER CUSTOMER EMAILS AND OTHER CUSTOMERS HAVE BEEN COMPLAINING ABOUT THE CYCLEBOARDS TOO!!!! Hi,
We have received both of your reviews and It’s unfortunate the position you are taking and the statements you are making but we will continue to work with you to find a resolution to this issue. Regarding the video I requested of the throttle: You don’t have to be riding to create the video, the cycleboard can be stationary as we are just looking to see how it is getting stuck when you release it. Also please answer my question if the throttle that is getting stuck is the one that got damaged during shipping or if it’s the other one? Fedex has been rough with some of our packages in some cases causing damage like your throttle display got broken, however it is an easy part to replace and we have them in stock to send to you. Regarding the battery, the best way to confirm if the battery has an issue is to use it with the non-damaged throttle display that you have to confirm it turns on. You said you charged the battery for several hours and the light did not turn green, however it can take up to 7 hours to fully charge since we use an 1152 watt hour battery so the battery is likely fine and just did not get charged long enough but please confirm this for us. The weight of the Rover is published on the website. We understand if it is heavier than you are able to handle but just wanted to point out that the weight is listed in the specs section on our website. We have a rock solid 1 year warranty to make sure you are covered for any issues you may have whether they are product related or shipping related and are happy to ship you a new throttle display for the one that was broken during shipping as well as the missing fender.
