Cyclone installed my well in about 2006. It advertises on its web-site "lifetime guarantee". They failed to fix my well last month.I phoned Cyclone on Thursday, Oct. 9 regarding the water-well at my house not working. Cyclone installed the well in about 2006, and its web-site refers to "lifetime guarantee on our wells". . [redacted], owner, spoke with me on Oct. 9 and said he would be out to my house to fix the well "tomorrow Friday or Monday." I said that would be fine. The following Wednesday or Thursday, having heard nothing, I left a voicemail for him (my original method of contact). No response. The next week I left additional voicemails, and sent an e-mail on Wednesday, Oct. 22. The next evening he e-mailed me a response promising "we will be out there on Friday or Monday". The following Wednesday, Oct. 29, having heard nothing, I left another voicemail. No response. On Thursday, Oct. 30, 3 weeks after initially contacting Cyclone, I gave up and contacted another company that got the well repaired that very day. I left a voicemail and sent an e-mail to Cyclone telling [redacted] to forget about it.So, Cyclone promised timely response, failed for 3 weeks, failed to contact me with any reason for the delay, and didn't honor its "lifetime guarantee". I spent $200 with the other company.[redacted]. -- [redacted]. I would like to again repeat that our lifetime guarantee, which we have honored for 44 years in eastern NC, is on well performance and does not include a guarantee on pumps (our pump manufacturers carry their own warranty).
