There is no resolve proposedAfter months into this project Jason H [redacted] signed an agreement on March 31st that stated the we site would be finished in six weeks and for every day delay thereafter my balance due of $6,would be reduced by $and if the web site was not complete in days I would receive a complete refund of the $13,I have paid him thus far On August 8th two days before the deadline I was given a link to a web site deemed my final product Problem is it contained a huge amount of errors Its obvious the developer did not test the site properly as is protocol before a site should be presented as final Here is his email response to my request for a refund

We do admit that we had some unexpected obstacles in the completion of the projectBut when working on any web project, the timelines and pace are not only set by the agency but also by the client in the amount of changes and their response timeWe will admit that there have been
some delays from our team (particularly in the design phase) and we take responsibility for that, but below are also points where the project timeline was delayed due to the client changes and response times. It took over months from time of discovery and kickoff just to get a sitemap and navigational structure approved for the siteAnd, as a side note, that was changed substantially later in the process adding to rework by our team.We did not have all of the site content until December 24thOn February 17th the site map had to be updated due to the amount of changes made to navigational structure of the site mid production. It took from Jan 15th to March 2nd to get the html approved due to the amount of changes to the html pages (these pages had been cut based upon the client approved designs)The site cannot begin to be programmed until the html is completed and approved since the site has to be programmed based upon these pages. We did not receive all of the fully completed product upload sheets until March 28thObviously these are essential to an e-commerce website. The site was put on hold during client threat of litigation (this threat came one week after we received approval on html to even move forward with programming the site). On May 9th we entered into an agreement with client stating that we would complete the site within six weeks, and if it was not completed we would take a penalty and reduce the amount due upon completion of the project which is fairWe had some unexpected obstacles occur in building this site, but we are on track to have the site completed in the next couple of weeksThe client has been sent a link to the site to begin reviewing and providing feedback and edits

Since it’s not clear exactly which parts of my response are disputed, I will just say that I can provide screenshots from basecamp (our project management system) that confirm the dates I referenced in the previous response if need be. A test link was sent to the client on July 1st to begin testing and sending any adjustmentsThis is a step in the website building processThere will always be items that clients would like adjusted once they see the site with content added and all of the pages put togetherThe client sent a list of edits on July 6th and on July 7th the majority of the listed edits were fixed on the test siteThe remaining items were sent to be fixed by the developer or more clarification as requested from the clientThe remaining items are currently in process of being fixed by the developer. The client will be provided with a final link to review the site next Thursday, July 21st and training on the Magento E-Commerce CMS will be scheduled for Friday, July 22ndOnce the client reviews and approves the front and back end of the test site, we can move the site liveWe are doing everything we can to get the site completed and live for our client as quickly as possible

The Business response was in my Junk folder and I did not see it until today I dispute most of what the Business said in their response. To date we have not received a finished web site. The link provided to review is elementary and contains multiple errors.

There is no resolve proposed. After 12 months into this project Jason H[redacted] signed an agreement on March 31st 2015 that stated the we site would be finished in six weeks and for every 10 day delay thereafter my balance due of $6,600 would be reduced by $660.00 and if the web site was not complete in 90 days I would receive a complete refund of the $13,500 I have paid him thus far.  On August 8th two days before the deadline I was given a link to a web site deemed my final product.  Problem is it contained a huge amount of errors.  Its obvious the developer did not test the site properly as is protocol before a site should be presented as final.   Here is his email response to my request for a refund.
