Run as fast as you can
August 30, 2021 I signed a contract for a near new hair removal laser. I paid cynosure $57,175.00 with two credit cards. I received a laser on October 1, 2021. The laser that I was delivered was refurbished and it had a different sierial number than the contract I signed.  I promptly objected to the acceptance of the laser. The sales rep refused to take it back, give me what I signed for or even give me a discount.   I called my two credit card companies and submitted a charge back.  December 1, 3021 I paid $980.00 to return the laser I did not order. The company legal department refused delivery.  The laser was not improper working order as it would not hold water.  The company wanted to send someone out to fix it I said no.  The sales rep offered it to me for $40,000 and I told him I would not pay $20,000.  I told them that the property was abandoned and that I would start to charge them $10.00 a day for storage.  In March 2022 my second charge back of $45,000.00 finally came back in my favor. I received one call from Cynosure accountant. I explained that the contract was breeched and for the 6th time I offered them to come and get there laser.  I never heard anything from the company until June 7, 2023- 15 month later!  I received a call from accounting followed by a statement. The next day I get 2 calls from a 3rd party collections agency threatening legal action.  This was followed by a letter demanding $57,175.00.
Cynosure is trying to bill and collect for an item I did not order. They are not concerned about destroying my credit. I was sent the wrong thing and now after 22 months are demanding payment for an item that does not match the description of my signed contract.

Cynosure is by far the worse company I ever had to deal with. They have sales people Tyler H going to my clinic and made all sorts of false promises and defraud me with a contract and promised me a price tag of $151,000 but under fine prints of the contract Cynosure actually charged up to $240,000. There is no quality market team for support and the training is pretty much a joke.
If you look up on any website such as *** or used equipment market, the resale value for Cynosure machine dropped 70% after one year. You can literally get a used machine for less than 40,000.
I think the most important things for physicians is to unite together and take a class action lawsuit so Cynosure cannot defraud our hard earned money. If anyone is interested I suggested everyone report your bad experience to *** or specialty board and have the board review this and we will have a better case if we were to file a class action lawsuit together.

I had Sculpsure at a dermatologist office. It did not work. I tried to contact the company directly, but there is no contact information on their website. I believe the reviews online were misleading.

I am a physician and have been in contact with Cynosure since 2015.
Cynosure company is based on false advertisement and frauds to push medical communities to purchase their laser products, without satisfactory near or long term result. They make expensive events. They pay for booth in sufisticated and well known medical meetings. And push for technologies that ......
For example they made claim “ Sculpsure”new technology will reduce body fat in 25 minutes, during lunch time, and is tolerable. They created urgencies that this has been cleared by FDA in past few days. And there are limited available units before mass production that would be 6-9 months waiting time. They promised million dollars advertisement and support for any medical office to buy it immediately ! A lot of medical cosmetic facilities bought it.
It turns out it was very painful procedure, with no significant changes, and no individual marketing support what so ever. They wasted months and months to train, re- train. There was not even bill of sale and invoice after years of request to evaluate company responsibilities after sale!!
After two years of fighting with company without any improvement in outcome, eventually group of medical cosmetic facilities initiated class action law suite. In 2016, *** bought company with an astonishing price tag of $1.65b.!!
CEO, majority of administers, and most of sales persons and managers left right away.
Surprisingly, in 2019, under *** management, Class action judge put all blames on Doctors that they should have known better not to fall for this ( $225,000 unit price, and *** approval). Alot of people were burned out, doctors, staff, and patients.
Above all of above, This laser has no value in secondary market!. All bad news about cynosure and *** should be out.
In my opinion this is company That should not be trusted. And definitely does not deserve any rating at Revdex.com or any agencies.

In early 2019, sales agents of Cynosure came to my office, uninvited and unsolicited. They brought lunch to discuss various medical aesthetic laser systems they offer. They stated they sought me out because of my stellar medical reputation, and they were looking to expand their laser presence in my local area. They assured me they only sell to a select number of practices, and are careful never to sell to practices/businesses that are in close proximity. They noted that they could give me special pricing if I agreed to buy TWO laser systems at once. They razzle-dazzled me with figures that demonstrated I would have to be dead to not generate enough money off of these systems each month to make the monthly finance payments. They would arrange financing for me. They gave me the name and number of a physician in *** who made so much money off of Cynosure lasers that she paid off her lasers early, paid for her daughter's college education, and purchased more laser systems from Cynosure. I thought I did my homework, and I signed. I purchase the Cynosure Sculpsure and Icon medical aesthetic systems. I then learned the terrible folly of my decisions. First, a search on Cynosure's own website revealed that MANY businesses offer these same laser systems in my local area, one as close as across the street from my practice. Second, they set me up with THREE leasing companies (***, ***, ***), telling me to sign whatever documents come my way and don't, whatever I did, tell the companies that I was dealing with the other ones. The contracts didn’t even disclose the interest rate, and I was pressured to sign them, as Cynosure had already delivered the laser systems to my practice. These leases locked me into high-interest rate loans, without the option to pay them off early, and with stiff penalties for any default. The terms of these loans cannot be changed, as they were negotiated between Cynosure and the leasing companies, NOT between the leasing companies and myself. Third, Cynosure promised me eternal support, not only with technical and medical issues, but also with marketing. Despite extensive and exhaustive marketing on my office's part, our ability to generate income from these laser systems has been limited and largely unsuccessful. The clinical marketing support agent we were assigned by Cynosure was difficult to work with and didn't even show up for our second open house, which she was supposed to conduct. My office, of our own initiative, has marketed on social media, radio, TV, roadside signs, bridal shows and even an endzone banner at the local high school football games. There is nothing we can do that we haven't already done. Forth, the lasers are VASTLY overpriced. When attempting to sell our lasers on the secondary medical market, we have learned that the lasers for which we paid $165,000 each, plus are committed to an addition $80,000 in interest that cannot be avoided as pre-payment is not allowed, can now be sold for only about $17,000. Fifth, the systems have a bad reputation. We have learned of other medical practices going bankrupt over not being able to market the lasers and make monthly financing payments. We have learned that there is a current class-action lawsuit against the *** specifically in ***, alleging that the system is unmarketable due to lack of efficacy and excessive patient pain from treatments.
All of this adds up to a dirty deal from Cynosure and, ultimately, Hologic. When we contacted them about these issues, we received nothing but silence. They have their money, and I'm the one left holding the bag, defending myself, my family and my medical practice against the ravenous leasing companies that are waiting to devour me. There needs to be financial and governmental regulations on this vastly abusive and borderline illegal industry.

UnacceptableI don't know what you saw on your 'so-called' cameraYou're not being honest about the prevailing sub-culture in Reno, in generalThough this is the case as we all know; I at least expect a reasonable degree of civility when I'm spending my moneyContempt is hardly 'detectable'--it's subtle and I find it extremely patronizing to tell me it was anything different--very dismissiveI should get a free burger, reallyYour 'attendant' was very rude and I've recommended your burgers to quite a few tourists, in factThis is what I get?
Final Business Response /* (4000, 16, 2017/02/10) */
We have reviewed footage of the alleged event and were unable to substantiate behavior that could have been identified as being racistThe Club Cal-Neva has a very diverse labor force, I would be comfortable in saying- as diverse as any labor force in the areaIn addition to our very diverse labor force, our customer base is also just as diverseWe have spoken to the attendant and do not believe any of his actions were a result of him being racist
In your original "Customers Desired Resolution" you stated that all you wanted was the issue to be addressed, we have investigated the matter and the issue has been addressed
