Review: I had emailed cypress carpet and air duct cleaning company to request a quote for cleaning the air duct at our town home. I was asked to call back at ###-###-####. The representative I spoke to over the phone quoted me $150 to clean our 10 vents. I asked them very clearly what kind of cleaning did you quote for, I was told that the $150 was for rotobrush cleaning. I confirmed to make sure it wasn't negative pressure technology and the representative said no that it was infact only rotobrush. When the two rep. came to do the job on may 16th @ 1:50PM , I asked them again if they were doing rotobrush cleaning and they confirmed that. When they started the cleaning the vents from the attic, I did not see root brush. I checked with the representative again, if they were using roto brush. he showed me a piece of hand brush and said that yes they were. I wasn't quiet sure if it was rotobrush, so when they came downstairs I asked them if they will open all the vents and rotobrush them. Bottom line, there was no root brush in the whole cleaning process, which led to an argument with the rep. I wasn't willing to pay the price for being cheated, so I just paid them a fair share of labour $70. I was cheated with wrong information and price , the promised service was not provided. The company representative was rude and calling our names.I would like the company to apologize in writing for their behavior and unfair practice.Desired Settlement: A written apology from the company representative, accepting their behavior and unfair practice. Also, I did check the fair price for just a vacuum job would be $35, so I would like half of my money back.
