I went to this location with a finger that had been sliced open and I was bleeding profusely. I was told (nicely) that they were full and it would be at least 45 minutes until someone could see me, but that their location on 5037 2920 could see me immediately. Bleeding, in pain, and losing blood, I made the 5.2 mile drive to the other location where I was asked "why did they send you here?" and told "we just had three people show up, so you'll have to take a seat". I filled out the forms and was asked for photo ID and my insurance card. I showed my photo ID and dug for my insurance card that I had left at home in my rush to obtain the medical help I sorely needed. I was told that they could not help me and I would have to go someplace else. I pleaded with her to call Blue Cross/Blue Shield to verify, but she said "no". I told her I was in the system and that I regularly went to the FM 1960 location. She said "sorry, I can't help you". I left, very upset and becoming disoriented. I went to Walgreens to patch myself up, but we could not stop the bleeding. I returned home, very dizzy and my neighbor who is a doctor, asked if I was okay and, seeing my gaping wound, proceeded to clean, stop the bleeding, and close my wound. I hope you are happy with the way you sent me off to bleed on the street.
