personally talked to the complainant on Wednesday March when she informed me of the pothole and the damage to her vehicle. I told her that I was unaware of the pothole prior to her call that day and our company does not reimburse for vehicle damages. I immediately contacted the maintenance service for this location to make arrangements for the pothole to be filled the next day. I also spoke with *** *** in the Public Works Department for the town of Avon. He admitted that any complaints they receive about this roadway are not forwarded to our office and the caller is made aware of that fact. He also stated that the town of Avon will reimburse for vehicle damage ONLY if they were previously aware of the pothole and ONLY if the pothole had not been reported in a reasonable amount of time.
