CZ Property Services Reviews (%countItem)

This company will require you to enter into a lawn mowing contract. This is problematic as they will not adjust if the grass doesn't grow for a week in a dry summer. They'll still mow and charge. I had them mow bi weekly with an end date in the fall. Their normal bi weekly mow occurred on the 3rd but because I stated the 9th was when I was the I wanted to cancel this contract as I was selling the property, they decided to get one extra service in and cut the grass 6 days later, attempting to get an extra charge, though our contract stated I'd pay every 2 weeks.

In short, check for another lawn provider. This company is not to be trusted.

In response to Todd Q. Last time mowed was the 9th and you still have not paid your bill. Per your contract terms mowing was done every 2 weeks if needed. There were several time we did not mow because it was to dry. Sorry that you had an issue but we were following your contract terms that you signed and followed the directions as to cancellation of said contract. Have a great day

The work performed by CZ did not match the work they quoted. The quality of the work is far from adequate.
I hired CZ Property Services (CZ herein) to perform some landscaping work which was done during the last week of October (approximately). CZ was to level two areas in my yard including adding soil, tilling, leveling and seeding those areas. I paid for this service in December. At the time of service the two areas that were worked on were left covered by a common landscaping material to help the seed take root. I was advised to keep the area watered until grass started coming through. I watered the area until temperatures no longer allowed. No grass came through, so I called CZ in November to see what I should be doing. They said leave it until the following Spring. I expressed some concern at this time but was told they would come out and look at it if it did not fill in. In late April, I saw the beginnings of growth. I removed the material and saw that most of the growth was not grass, but various weeds. I also saw patches with no growth. Additionally, I did not see evidence that soil was added, or that the area was leveled. I called CZ multiple times in May and June, each time being told someone would come out and look at the area. I also emailed them on May 29th with photos showing the state of the area worked on. I did not receive a response. I emailed them one last time on July 23rd indicating my decision to contact the Revdex.com. They did respond to this indicating they had responded in May. They also suggested the issue was caused by fertilizers or weed control products. I had not used these products on the area. CZ also did not address the top soil issue. Invoice from CZ is 2466, it was paid on 11/29. The respondent to my email was

Desired Outcome

I would like CZ to come out and remove weeds, add top soil, re-level both areas and re-seed the area.

We did all the work described above on 11/3/17. He was told to provide the area with plenty of water to help the seedling to take root. He had sent a picture of this where the matting was placed that showed a lot of green grass coming through the mat also talked to him he was concerned about mowing the area with the mat in place. We told him he could remove the matting. He also had said it looked good. We did add the dirt required to level the areas. The dirt that was added was tilled then leveled in to the area this helps the seedling to take root and should not be visible months later. We did receive email and responded to them. We did look at the area and with our experience the area looks like it was treated with fertilizer and/or weed control. We did all aspects of this job on 11/3/17. At this time we did what the customer requested. We are a company that stands firm on customer service so we would be willing to reseed the area only in question at no charge to the customer.

Customer Response • Sep 10, 2018

I am not satisfied with CZ's response, unfortunately there does not seem to be a way to resolve this as it is basically their word versus mine.

Thanks.

We had this company come power wash, brighten, and seal our fence. The problem is the look we were shown (in pictures) is a deeper natural color and is the look we were expecting with the brightener and sealer combination. The fence currently still has a very light and dull finish, and not even close to the finish we wanted and were presented in the photos. I'm not sure if the sealer used was too light, or if the brightener washed out some of the color in the fence, but the current state of the fence is MUCH lighter than the photos and the expectation we had when we made the decision to have CZ also apply the brightener and sealer. We asked if there were any options, and the company quite rudely responded that there were not options. They were quite difficult to get a hold of, and when spoke on the phone scream, cursed, and even threatened to get an attorney if we didn't "just pay the *** money".

The ~$1300 cost for the last 2 steps in the process are what we have concerns about and looking for their options to correct if possible to the finish like the photos they sent. We hate the idea of being threatened with an attorney. We are not the type of people who like to be hostile, so this is quite disturbing. They are not being easy to work with and are not willing to do anything to assist. It is unfortunate that we need to pay $2,000 for something that does not look anything near the pictures that they showed us. In order to get that desired look now, we will need to pay an additional $2,000 to fix it. I do not think that is right.
Product_Or_Service: Fence work

Desired Outcome

Billing Adjustment When speaking with the owner, he said he was going to take us to court if we didn't pay soon, so my husband was going to go ahead and pay. The owner threatened us by saying he was going to take us to court if we didn't pay, and then turn around and sue us too. I don't think anyone should be threatened like that. It is very unprofessional and quite scary that business owners can get away with that.

CZ Property Services Response

In regards to the complaint, Our Company did as the contract was agreed to. We did in fact power wash all the dirt and grim then applied a brightener to the fence to help open the poor's in the wood and brighten the wood this helps the wood accept the stain or the sealer. We also sealed the fence wood which will help it from aging as fast as it would without the sealer. The sealer has no color it is clear we originally quoted staining the wood but they wanted a cheaper option, and that option is to seal the wood. This process adds years to the fence. The brightener will not make the wood change its color. The picture you are referring to is obviously wet you can actually see the hose on the deck. This has been explained several times to this customer. The picture was taken as soon as the deck was done and still wet this was also explained to this customer. The picture was also sent to them to show the difference between using brightener and not, which is a clear difference which could also be clearly seen on their fence. We had offered to stain the fence but the customer stated they wanted a more cost effective way with a natural look, the only thing that will give that is a sealer to meet both of those wants. The natural look for their fence is the color they have sealer doesn't change the wood color or shade it is a clear product that seals and not alters the image. After the customer called to let us know that they were not happy we did let her know that we would see if there was anything else that could be done. We did call our supplier and explained this to them. They have told us that the.The only option left is to completely remove all sealer to the bare wood. Which would be very difficult being the sealer soaks into the wood, and very well may not work being the grade of product we use has a long life span.We did let the customer know that it would costed approximately $2000.00 At no point and time was foul language used. Yes we did ask the customer to pay the bill or we would contact our lawyer but this was said after the customer had said they were refusing to pay the bill, and invoice was sent weeks prior. All done and said we did the job the customer requested to the fullest per the contract signed by the customer. As for being hard to get a hold of you spoke with sales staff, office staff and that wasn't good enough for them they wanted to speak to the owner the owner doesn't handle that part of the business this is why they spoke to the other personnel that are in charge of those areas
