I called Jerry's Heating & Air to come to my home in November of 2016 to survey damage to my air unit as a result of Hurricane Matthew. I spoke with Kim, who said she could send a technician out the next day. After a brief examination of my unit, the technician gave me his diagnosis, and then asked for $69. I told him I was not aware that I was going to be charged for an estimate. He called the office to see if they would be willing to waive the fee, and they refused. Since it wasn't the technician's fault, I wrote him a check so he could go about his business. I immediately called the office to lodge a complaint and ask for a refund. I spoke with Kim again, who was not understanding at all and very short with me. After arguing with me for a minute or two, she said she would leave a message with the owner, Vet, to see if she would be willing to refund my money. The following week, I checked my bank statement and saw that my check had been cashed but I had not yet heard from the owner. I called back. The owner was again not in, so I left another message. After not hearing from her again, I called a few days later to find out when she would be in the office. I finally spoke with her weeks after my initial complaint, at which time she said she would talk with the technician to find out how long he had been at my home and then determine a way to resolve this. She told me she and Kim would be out of town the following week on a conference and asked that I give her until the following Monday to call me back. I obliged and even gave her extra time when I did not hear back from her on that Monday in December as promised. I have called back every week since, leaving messages for her each time, and not hearing from her. I felt I had no other option but to report them to the Revdex.com since my NUMEROUS phone calls have not been returned and they refuse to resolve my issue as they had promised to do.
