Thank you for this opportunity to set this record straight [redacted] release aids similar to the one returned by this customer were manufactured between and 1998, leading me to believe that this product has served the customer well for over years and that any problems he may have experienced were caused by wearI have attached three pictures of the product he returned, which show severe wear where the anodization of the jaws and trigger of the product have been worn by tens of thousands of usesIf this product were an automobile, the model year would be and the mileage indicator would read over 200,milesIn cases like this, we do our best to take care of our valued customersOur service technician gladly cleaned the release’s internal components, inserted a .256” ball inside the release, and tested the release to lbs of pressure for over ten secondsFor reference, the average hunting bow maxes out between and lbs of pressureOur technician also warned the customer to follow adjustment directions and use appropriate D-loop rope material on his bowstringThis release was then returned to the customer on February 5, 2016, so the customer has been using this product after return for approximately more months.Our warranty states that we will repair or replace products with problems caused by manufacturer’s defects that are not caused by wearObviously, we have gone out of our way to satisfy this customer and we will happily do the same for all of our other customers as well! experienced were caused by normal wear. I have attached three pictures of the product he returned, which show severe wear where the anodization of the jaws and trigger of the product have been worn by tens of thousands of uses. If this product were an automobile, the model year would be 1998 and the mileage indicator would read over 200,000 miles. In cases like this, we do our best to take care of our valued customers. Our service technician gladly cleaned the release’s internal components, inserted a .256” ball inside the release, and tested the release to 100 lbs of pressure for over ten seconds. For reference, the average hunting bow maxes out between 50 and 70 lbs of pressure. Our technician also warned the customer to follow adjustment directions and use appropriate D-loop rope material on his bowstring. This release was then returned to the customer on February 5, 2016, so the customer has been using this product after return for approximately 6 more months.Our warranty states that we will repair or replace products with problems caused by manufacturer’s defects that are not caused by normal wear.
