The customer was told that he could purchase a warranty with the used tires for 7 days to help him if anything went wrong with the tires. The customer denied the warrant offer. Mr. [redacted] offered to put on one of the tires for the customer at his shop because he drove to get the tires on his spare tire. On Thursday January 23rd, 2014 D & B Automotive sold and installed for me 4 matching tires on my girlfriends Scion. Before driving up there to get tires we made sure they had 4 matching tires for our vehicle. During installation of the front passenger tire the TPS module was broken. The sensor was in perfect working order before installation of tires. The part was broken by D & B Automotive. Less than 24 hours later on the morning of Friday January 24, 2014 two of the tires were flat, rendering the vehicle undriveable. The tires were inspected and found to be defective. One tire had a broken belt and the other had a faulty valve stem. We tried repeatedly to contact D&B about the issues and were told they would be covered under the 7 day warranty and we could expect a return call by 7:00 pm on Friday evening. We never received the call and repeated text messages have been ignored. Unable to drive the car, and needing the faulty tires replaced, I had to purchase 4 more new matching tires from Tire Discounters for the sum of $430.00 and have the TPS module replaced on my own. We sent a certified letter to D&B requesting they contact us to arrange either reminbursment of the original cost of the tires or provide us with four matching comparable tires and they have ignored us.
