Review: Owner/ contractor made several mistakes while completing work in our home. He than charged us for him having to go back and fix the errors he made to make it right. We wrote him a check for the final amount, with him knowing that my husband and I were not happy with the cost and we made it very clear that we wanted to sit down and go over the "extra" charges he was coming up with. After several attempts to contact him (to which he only took one call and then hung up on my husband, after he ([redacted]) said we could sit down and figure it all out. We put a stop payment on the check. Unfortunately I did not get the stop payment completed in time, as [redacted] went to the bank immediately and cashed the check knowing that we were disputing his charges and after he said we could sit down and discuss the charges. The final bill was for 1500 dollars more than what was expressed on the original contract. There are also still a few things [redacted] left unfinished in our home. He will not respond to any of the contact we have tried to make with him..phone calls, text messages, emails and also a written letter. Desired Settlement: We would like to be given back the 1500 dollars that [redacted] stole from us.

[redacted] signed the contract on July 19, 2013. [redacted] wrote the down payment check on August 15, 2013. Then on October 10, 2013 [redacted] reviewed the final invoice, wrote the final check and asked me to come back to do additional work at her home in the future. My business has an A rating with the Revdex.com for a reason, I take care of my customers.

I did not ask for additional work in the future. I asked if he was coming back to finish work that we paid for. We still do not have a light over our kitchen sink. A piece of moulding is still not put up. The toilet in the master bath rocks horribly. There is missing grout in the kitchen where the owner of DB construction picked it away and never fixed it. I would never ask for this company to come back to my home for future work. I would never hire this person again. I would like a refund for the work he has not finished so we can hire someone else to do the work that [redacted] was paid for yet
