D B Construction

my husband and I signed a contract with d b construction of pulaski to have 2 by 8 floor joist to be replaced under our house, . the crew came, jacked up our house and began work. they finished while I was at work, replaced all the insulation and came for their payment. I asked them to wait till my husband could get home to check it all out. but danny brunk ( THE OWNER) INSISTEDON PAYMENT OF $55OO.OO, WHICH I PAYED BY CHECK, telling me the work had been done exactly as our contract was written. when our son visited us months later, HE WENT INTO THE CRWAL SPACE, PULLED THE INSULATION TO find that MR BRUNK DIDNOT USE 2 BY 8 FLOOR JOIST,, . HE USED 2 BY 6'S WHICH LEAVES A 2 INCH GAP BETWEEN THE FLOOR JOIST AND THE SUB-FLOOR. THIS SUPPORTS NOTHING!!!!! SO THE PROBLEM WE HAD ( WE STILL HAVE). HE COVERED ALL THIS WITH THE INSULATION, I HAVE GONE TO HIS OFFICE BEGGING HIM TO COME DO THE JOB RIGHT. HE CAME TO MY HOUSE, JUMPED UP AND DOWN IN MY KITCHEN INSISTING THAT ' MY FLOOR IS FINE BECAUSE ' he is a 300 lb man and my floor wont fall. HE TOLD ME 'i worry too much. THIS BEHAVIOR IS UNACCEPTABLE for any so called business man. I had [redacted] FROM CHRISTIONSBURG come here to see the mess that d b construction has made and I was told by them to contact you to let you know how this company is cheating people in our area. my husband is a disabled war veteran.
