this company came to do work and when complete we offered to pay the worker said he didn't know anything about that and that we would receive a bill SIX WEEKS LATER we get a certified letter stating they have the right to lien because we didn't pay the person who answered their phone refused to let us talk to a supervisor and said it's the LAW to send a notice of a lien with their first bill I guess their company has such poor practices that many people don't pay we get plenty of bills that do NOT come with a notice of lien; it is simply lazy on their part to send a bill, then if it isn't paid, come the lien we will NEVER NEVER NEVER have them do work for us again and NEVER recommend them to any friends it is rude and insulting to have to sign for a lien notice when you never get a bill in the first place

In response to the complaint by *** *** , She did purchase a Kirby form our company on May 12th *** did call the office around
September sometime she explained to me that she had taken her Kirby back that day to the dealer who sold it to herShe also stated that she could not afford the payments anymoreI then told her she only had a three day cancellation period from the day she bought it, and that she signed a legal and binding contract stating thatI also told her that she is financially responsible for the Kirby because it has been monthsI also told her that she needed to go and get the Kirby back from the dealer that sold it to her (as they were neighbors) because she no longer worked here and hadn't for sometimeI have not heard from MrsHudson sinceWe will be glad to help her in any way we canWe can even mail her a copy of the contract that she signed if need be
In conclusion we are here to help. However she signed, agreed and verfied with the finance company which holds the loan on the Kirby. Argain there is a day cancellation period on the contract she signed. Please feel free to contact us with any further questions

DBR came to our house saying that I wouldn't have to buy anything today and that they just wanted to let us know about their service (despite our neighborhood having a "No soliciting" sign). I'm a pretty nice guy so I listened to their pitch but since I'm not the homeowner I don't have the final say in decisions like that. My mother made it clear that we were not interested but he seemed to ignore that and continue talking to me. After he requested to come in and check out some of the rooms in our house (Who does that?) I told him that we weren't interested today. I don't think he realized how loud he was when he was walking away and said "[redacted]" under his breath.
If I hear about or see this business in our neighborhood again I'm going to file a formal complaint.
