Won a free deep room cleaning. Set up an appt, the day of the appt was canceled. Second time this has happened with this company.
I was contacted on Fri, Aug 24, and informed I have won a free deep room cleaning. I was asked what kind of vacuum cleaner I had, which was a kirby. I was told by the person on the phone that I would still get the room cleaning service and was given a list of possible dates for this service. I scheduled the cleaning for Mon, Aug 27, at 11:30am. I was then contacted on Mon, Aug 27, 10:30am, and informed the appt had been canceled by voice mail. I called the company back, ended up talking to someone who told me this was a promotional for a sales opportunity and since I already had a kirby vacuum cleaner, I wouldn't get the free cleaning. My complaint is that a company shouldn't offer something it's not going to deliver on. This is the second time this sort of thing has happened with D.C. & Co.
