Unauthorized sale of storage items valued over $750,000, after being promised by owner and employees that the items would not be sold.
On May 1st 2010 I rented 2 storage units from [redacted], the owner of DC Self Storage. On March 8th 2013 I notified Mr.[redacted] by mail that I was ready to pick up the items in units 254 & 258 and would need a total due to pay off the account. I was informed by an employee, not the owner himself, my units had been sold! The units had a tremendous amount of sentimental items as well as a very valuable sports card collection and over $100,000 in Gold. I have videos and pictures of all the items in the units. My wife's dad's ashes and all his Vietnam medals and awards were in the units along with 40 years of our lives...GONE!!!! I will spend the rest of my life destroying Mr.[redacted] and his business if he does not refund me my life! I have reciepts for all the items that were stolen by Mr.[redacted] if needed.
