Wisdom of the Camino did not provide the programming outlined in its prospectus for its day Camino Sept 11-Oct 20, The prospectus for the day Camino I participated in said : The route is carefully chosen Length of walking days would be reasonable Our guide knew how to structure this trip to allow the participants to have a powerful spiritual journey There would be a morning circle for intention setting each day The primary guide, Ariana, has strong people skills 6.Accomodation was to be double occupancy 7.Pre-camino calls were to focus on mental , spiritual and physical aspects of walking a long pilgrimage Guiding will be provided by Ariana based on her extensive experience on the Camino There will be a half-day pre-camino session with Ariana A recorded soul song will be provided There will be an official photographer, energy healer and Intuitive There would be an energy session for each participant with the above healer
Hired an guide Ariana [redacted] for a day Camino who did not guide and breached contract for double occupancy and other services Purchased day guided tour and was very little if any guiding services Given wrong directions, sometimes given late and many times not given much in what the day would be about etc., what to avoid and what to enjoyHeld up waiting for directions or delayed because directions were not clear (ie: Samos I was over hours before directions given)Was walking and told to not make a turn but was already past by a km or so from the point of reference Sad part we were just in a bar together and she could have said something and she didn'tNo Guiding or coaching on the trip Told afterwards we were to ask for it Guide couldn't speak Spanish enough to order basic service such as Taxi Was hedp in waiting for her to get taxi's or meeting spotsWhen questioning the location of hotel, told to keep going but the hotel was behind me and not in the dest
On May 7/I left for the Camino Trail But before that,
there was much to do and I wasn't sure just WHAT !!
Ariana *** took me to stores that would have
appropriate clothes and gear such as back packs, walking
sticks, outer jackets, and rain gear needed I was grateful
for her help and advice as I really had no idea just what to
purchase
It was a relief to know that Ariana made all travel and
accommodation arrangements so I had no worries or concerns in that regard All our flights worked out perfectly Our accommodations far exceeded my expectations and were a welcome sight and comfortable
places in which to relax at the end of a long day
Since I was years of age, I didn't walk as fast as many
others Ariana walked with me without giving me the
impression she was "looking after me"!
Ariana took us to and showed us places we wouldn't have
seen if we had been on our own
All in all, my whole adventure of walking the Kms
was much easier and more enjoyable by having gone with
Ariana
