In the response the office manager is claiming the work was done because it is documented.  I disagree.  I do not believe the work was completed.  If they would come and look at my yard, they would see that the perennials were not split last year.  The workers did come and do routine clean up (clearing the above ground part of the perennials).  I had no way of knowing whether they had actually split the root system until the plants fully emerged this summer.  I was not here when the work was done.  I questioned whether the plants had been split since the soil appeared undisturbed.  I was told the work had been completed.  Doug implied he was basing this on the fact that the workers returned with a large amount of debris,, NOT that he was here to witness the work being done.   Our yard would have easily produced a large amount of debris just from routine fall clean-up.  The only to know for sure if the plants were split is if they are smaller this year than they were last year.  They are definitely not.  I have encouraged Doug to come out and take a look, and he has not responded to my emails.   As I stated originally I would like some of my money returned.  Thank you!

Review: Last Fall I hired D&D to do landscaping for me. In the estimate they agreed to split the perennials and leave about a third of each as well as cut back all the perennials and shrubs for winter. They came when I was not home. When I returned home, I could tell they had pruned the shrubs and perennials as agreed upon. However, it did not appear as though anything had been dug (which would need to occur for the perennials to be split as agreed upon). I questioned Doug [redacted] and he assured me all the work had been done. I decided to trust him despite the fact that I did not see any signs that the digging had been done. As summer progressed and our perennials came up, it became VERY clear they had not been split. They are larger than they were last summer and still very much in need of being split. I have emailed and called Doug repeatedly. At one point he agreed to come and take a look at the yard, but he has not followed up with me to tell me how he would resolved the problem. After many attempts to contact him, I let him know my next step would be contacting the Revdex.com. I still did not hear back from him.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the work that was not done. The total bill was $1,346,31. It was not broken down, but I hope to get at least $700 refunded.
