AJ Construction roofed my house and garage in July I felt that everything was going wellThe crew was efficient, courteous & cleaned the area dailyI questioned my evaluation when I discovered that work was halted due to not getting a permit from the building departmentShortly after completion, I discovered that there was damage to the eave across the front of the garage, allowing water to fall between the eave and carportAlso, water runs from the roof down on the porch from a cornerThe corner of the eave was reattached, but not properly My efforts to have these areas inspected have been ignoredI now have a bucket on the porch to catch the rain

We have and continue to run a special on double ground hardwood. We have run this special for many weeks successfully. The advertisement  implicitly states double ground hardwood mulch.  Mrs. [redacted] purchased double ground DYED BROWN mulch which is...

substantially more expensive due to the dye and dyeing process.  As a company we should have responded much faster to the return call and that is failure that has been addressed within the company. We will continue to strive to communicate with our customers efficiently.  We did call Mrs. [redacted] several times concerning the receipt and emailed a copy of the receipt to her.  As far as the amount of mulch, we communicated at the job site that her mulch area would be significantly more than 10 yards before we finished the job.  The fact more material and labor will cost more money was communicated, we were told to proceed. We did not estimate this job for the cost of $300. As for the cost, since Mrs. [redacted] mentioned the special price of the non dyed mulch we as a courtesy extended a 22% discounted price to her for the dyed mulch she purchased.  We were in no way obligated to do so, as the offer does not include dyed mulch.  We did not overcharge for the product or installation of the mulch.
