Note *** was supposed to request the video from the station, which they have not followed through on and we will follow up with themThe video can only be released to the insurance co and the policeThe video shows that his statement is not truthful(and he may only be relaying what his driver told him)But, the car was at the pump, and my wife had put gas inwhen she went to start the car, the engine would not stay running.The driver never checked the engine, he simply started revving the engine over and over again at a very HIGH RPM and blew up the engineThe Battery guy should not have been doing that.Best Regards,***
To whom it may concern,We have already spoken to this customerWe have also informed *** of this situation*** has investigated this case and is in agreement with us in the fact that the damage was pre existing and was not caused by our technicianMrs*** was driving her Jeep Commander
with a Litter Hemi engine on August 22, This vehicle has over 90,milesShe started having engine issues as she was drivingShe managed to nurse the vehicle into the *** gas station at the corner of Crown Malley Pkwy and Marguerite Pkwy in the city of Mission Viejo where the engine died and would not startShe proceeded by calling *** and requesting battery serviceOnce the technician arrived and tested the battery, he came to the conclusion that the problem with the vehicle was intertual engine issues and not related to the battery at all, as the engine was making very loud knocking soundsAt this point, another call was made to *** and a tow truck was sent to the scene to tow this vehicle to the dealershipThis engine had already sustained massive internal damageThere is no way on earth that anyone could diagnose this vehicle's problem and form an estimate without a complete tear down of the engine and the affected partsIt is rather illogical and completely to say that the damage before the technician arrived was only $and the damage now is $10,300.00, when no one examined the vehicle before it was towed into the dealershipFurther more, the internet is overwhelmed by postings of the same exact problem on this same exact engine (5.7Litter Hemi)Considering the milleage on this engine and the overwhelming postings of the same exact issues on this very specific engine, it is clearly obvious that our technician had absolutely nothing to do with this issue and this was a pre existing problem prior to the technician's arrival on the sceneMr*** is hoping to blame someone and get them to pay for his engineWhere in reality he is the only one responsible for this problemDodge even has a TSB regarding this same very problem with the Litter Hemi enginesMy company owns three of these vehicles and two of them have undergone engine replacements due to this same exact issueWe are clearly declining this accusation and we are not taking any responsibility for his bad engine.Sincerely,
