Review: On Saturday September 6th 2014, My girlfriend and I rented a room at the D&D Motel. We rented our room around 9:30 pm, put our things in the room, then left to have dinner. Upon our return around 12:15 - 12:30 am, we returned to the room and actually checked out the room. We noticed the bathroom was dirty but able to be overlooked. We watched a little tv and browsed the internet until around 2:30 am. We then laid down for the night. we were in bed talking for about 45 min before my girlfriend started to scratch her arms saying that something felt like it was biting her. we talked a little longer and the scratching got worse. It was at this point that we got up and noticed bed bugs on the mattress. We both pulled back the comforter and noticed a few more. We then quickly packed our things and headed to the nearest laundry mat to wash our things. In the morning , I contacted the motel and asked to speak to the manager. The young lady at the front desk asked me to what it was regarding. I filled her in on the situation. She then informed me that the manager was not there and proceeded to rush me off of the phone. I informed her that all I wanted was my money back. She proceeded in trying to get me off of the phone. Finally I told her that I wanted my refund or I was going to make this matter public so that anyone that might want to rent a room there would know of the possible problems. After about ten minutes or this back and forth, she finally said that she would call the manager.

Around 2:00 pm, my brother and I went to the hotel to actually calk to someone face to face, and the manager arrived shortly we did. I informed him of the situation and told him that all I wanted was a refund. He said that he called the exterminators because his insurance required it as well as an investigation. and that it would be a day before he could refund my money. We talked about the situation a little more and he made it very aware that refunding my money wouldn't be a problem and that he would be happy to do it as soon as the exterminators came out and sprayed. I told him that wouldn't be a problem. He took down my number and told me that he would call me as soon as things were resolved. Today around 11:00 am, September 8, 2014. while on my break, I called the motel and asked to speak to the manager. The gentleman that I spoke to yesterday picked up the phone and I asked him what the situation was. He said that the exterminators had just gotten there (even though he told me that they were on their way when I spoke to him yesterday) and that they didn't find anything. I informed him that this isn't something that I would make up and that I even had pictures of my girlfriends arms where the bites were. He said that he believed that I was making things up just to scam him and that there was no way that he was going to refund my money. I brought up the point that he had assured me that a refund wasn't a problem. He then told me that he changed his mind, and that he wasn't going to do it.

I told him that I wanted my refund or that I was going to make this problem as well as the situation know to the public. he started to get a very aggressive tone with me and responded with" are you threatening me?" I simply said "no! But people need to know about this as well as the poor service that was offered to me when I was just trying to get a refund of what I paid, because of a dirty bathroom as well as an infestation that could potentially and quickly become a very large problem!" He responded with hanging up on me.

I understand the business have rules and guidelines that they need to follow. But to be treated like I was is uncalled for as well as unprofessional, when all I was asking for was a refund for my room that was less than par. And instead of being treated like a respected customer, I was then treated like a burden that was not only wasting his time, but was purposely trying to cause trouble. Please help me to resolve this so that I can put this bad experience behind me.

I just got off of the phone with the manager, He blamed the problem on an air freshener that they use in the room to cause an allergic reaction. I told him that she didn't start to itch until she was in the bed. He told me that I should do whatever I needed to do and that he was not worried about the Revdex.com or the health board in anyway and that he still not only refused to refund my money , but that the company owners were probably going to be hiring lawyers to resolve the situation and that I should think about hiring one of my own. And the only reason that I was not getting my refund was because I mentioned bed bugs. If it were anything else then it wouldn't be a problem because it would more or less be under the table.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of what I paid (54.75 after taxes) not any more. Again, please help me resolve this issue so that I can put it behind me.

Review: The motel kicked me out because I had called the police on someone who continued showing up after threatening to kill me. I had reported a brown recluse spider infestation and an ant infestation, when I told the owner he simple said "what am I supposed to do about it?". I had the money to pay every week on time and was planning on staying another week but instead got removed from the property. When I signed in to live there they said nothing regarding not allowing visitors which I didn't think anything of because the other people staying there had guests over on a regular basis. The owner informed my friends who were staying in different rooms that he had been receiving complaints about me even though I kept to myself and tried to keep as quiet as possible. He never came to me with any complaints. Every time I went to the office to talk to him he was smoking weed and on several occasions my friends and I witnessed him having sex with a tenant for free rent. He was always very rude and never solved any of my problems.Desired Settlement: I would like to be reimbursed in full due to the disturbing quality of care of the room I had and because of the attitude I got whenever there was a problem. Also I would like a reimbursement because of him kicking me out with no reason and no attempt to tell me other than hearing from friends about the 'complaints' about me.

Ok I have read and understood everything,First I'd like to say that she would have up to 6 people outside of her door making noise mostly every night and would disturb me and a sick family that was 2 rooms down hers. I couldn't sleep at night because of the banging in the room, also there was a serious Oder of cigarette smell in the room and burnt marks on the sheets. The room was destroyed once I went inside. She said there was 1 spider on the wall and her boyfriend offered to kill it. The police where here everyday and it was disturbing my guest.

That's not true at all. I told him there was an infestation. There were ants all over my room. The six people were outside my neighbors room, I kept to myself because I have a lot of appointments and no time to hang out with anyone. He's known to be a pathological liar. I filed several complaints with him and he never did anything about them, the banging noises were from my neighbors which was one of my complaints. I didn't smoke in the room because its in the rules not to and I didn't want to get kicked out.
