D & D Overhead Door Reviews (2)
MY COMPLAINT I BOUGHT A NEW HOME AND IT IS LESS THAN THREE YEARS OLD. D&D INSTALLED THE GARAGE DOOR AND THREE OF THE PANELS ARE CRACKED. D&D CAME OUTAND TOOK PICTURES AND SAID IT WAS THE *** CO. *** IS COVERING THE PANELS BUT THE LABOR IS ABOUT 150.00 AND I WANT TO TALK TO THE REP AND D&D WILL NOT GIVE IT TO ME I HAVE ASKED THREE TIMES.Product_Or_Service: GARAGE DOORDesired SettlementI WOULD LIKE THE PANELS INSTALLED AT NO CHARGE TO MEBusiness Response D&D Overhead Door did install the garage door at *** residence in January of 2011 and stands behind its workmanship and the manufacturer of the garage door. It is the policy of the manufacturer not to give out its representative's phone numbers rather its customer service phone number, which was provided to ***. After our service technician took pictures of the damage, *** was informed it did not look like a defect, but more like wind damage. Despite that, D&D Overhead said it would get the sections for ***, but the labor to replace the sections would be $150. It clearly states in *** warranty paperwork, "any labor charges are excluded and will be the responsibility of the purchaser." D&D Overhead Door even went out of its way to deliver the sections to *** residence after *** said he would come by and pick up the sections and do it himself because he did not want to pay the labor charge. After delivering the sections to *** he called D&D Overhead and told the receptionist, "This is bull----! How am I going to put three sections up by myself." He went on, "After I get off the phone I am hiring an attorney." D&D Overhead Door has gone out of its way to satisfy *** and he continues to bully our company to get something for free. D&D Overhead Door has been in business for 20+ years in Northern Nevada for a reason. D&D Overhead Door prides itself in the work that it does and the manufacturers we use. D&D Overhead Door followed the procedures of both its company's policy and the manufacturers. Thank you.Consumer Response responding to D&D OVERHEAD DOOR. FIRST OFF THE DOOR IS ONLY USED TO ENTER AND EXIT THE GARAGE. I ASKED JASON AND ANOTHER PERSON FOR THE REP OF WAYNE DALTON SO I COULD DISCUSS THE LABOR ISSUE BOTH TIMES I WAS TOLD NO, WHY NOT? I ALSO THOUGHT IT WAS THE PART OF THE DOOR THAT SCREWED IN THAT I COULD DO MYSELF I DID NOT REALIZE IT WAS THE FULL PANEL. HOW EVER I WOULD LIKE TO SAY JASON AND STAFF WERE DOING WHAT THEY COULD. I WOULD LIKE TO APOLOGIZE TO JASON AND STAFF YOU DO NOT GET ANY WARE BY THREATS, I WILL DEAL WITH THE DOOR. I WOULD LIKE TO ADD JUST WANTED THE DOOR REPAIRED WAS NOT TRYING TO BULLY ANYONE.
