*** *** *** **We were originally contracted by *** *** *** off of *** *** in *** ** to completely re-roof the house roof on *** *** *** in *** **We obtained a roofing permit from the city and our work passed from the *** *** during both our In-progress Inspection and our Final InspectionThe work we completed passed ALL inspections required by the *** ** *** *** *** and the *** ** ***. After the job was completed the Homeowner pointed out to us that the flat roof in the back was soft in certain spots and he then stated that given what was charged to him we should have re-sheeted the whole flat roofPer our contract we were to change rotten wood only, and not discolored or soft woodI called the *** of *** *** ***, the Company for whom we did the work, to explain what the Homeowner was unhappy about at that time. *** *** ***, again the company for whom the work was completed and with whom our contract was made, stated that our company would not be responsible for replacing the whole decking of the flat roof and not to concern ourselves with it, per our contract(If the wood was rotten we would replace it immediately, but the plywood is simply not thick plywoodThis means that it's to be expected that it may feel softFor example, if it was thicker plywood or decked with 1xit would not feel that way).The Homeowner was still concerned with the wood and so he called the *** ** *** and made a complaint that the *** *** was not doing a good job and that he should reinspect the house on *** *** ***The *** *** immediately sent the *** back out to the job for him to reinspect the roof and for a second time an *** still found no issues from a roofing standpoint, even regarding the flat roof, since we specifically showed him the area as it was the main cause of concern we were getting from the home owner. While the *** was at the job site, *** *** ***, he did notice that all of the windows had been blacked out with construction paper so that no one could look inside the house from the outsideAt one window in particular the paper had fallen and he could see inside the houseThe *** saw that they were doing all kinds of remodeling, from taking out walls to remodeling the whole inside of the house, without any *** *** or *** Permits for the wall removal ***. Once the *** *** saw that there were no proper *** *** pulled, the city *** called *** *** with the *** ** *** and they *** *** the Homeowner, forcing him to stop all construction work until he got all the necessary permits as required by the *** and *** ** ***Not long after we finished our work on the roof the *** of *** *** *** called me stating that there was an issue on the flat roof and that they believed that we had overlooked some rotten woodThey stated that the home owner tore down sections of his ceiling to see the wood underneath. D & D Roofing, LLCmet with the *** out at *** *** *** and he personally showed our company the spot of concernThe wood was discolored from prior water leaks, but was nowhere near rottensimply stainedThis fact was verified by the *** of *** *** *** himself that very day Our Company quickly and professionally responded that we would change that spot for him in order to ensure that he remain a happy customerWe came back out and cut a two foot by two foot section of the flat roof out and we replaced the wood that the Homeowner was concerned withAs we tore the section off, the top portion of the effected wood clearly looked to be in perfect condition, but our Company still decided to change the wood anyway in an attempt to ensure all parties involved were satisfied. After my repair on the stained wood area I took the pictures of the repair by the *** *** *** office off of *** ***and the ***, along with the ***, viewed my Before and After pictures and said that it looked perfect and that I should no longer worry about getting paid since the requested work had now been completed. After we left their office we went downtown to talk to the *** *** to show them our concerns and discuss our side of the story to the *** *** as the homeowner had filed a complaint toward us with the ***We explained the situation to the *** *** and showed the wood piece to the *** of all Building ***s in *** ***He said himself that the wood was discolored but nowhere near rotten and he personally would have never changed it in the first place. After all of this had been resolved our Company received payment from *** *** *** and never heard about anything regarding *** *** *** or the flat roof issue againOn October 20, I received a letter from the Revdex.com stating the concerns from the homeownerThe homeowner stated in his letter that he has a chimney roof leak and other spots on the flat roof that he thinks are problems stillThe Homeowner also stated that he has tried to reach out to us for these issues but no employee from D & D Roofing, LLChas received any texts, calls, emails, letters, voicemails or any communications of any sort from the Homeowner, or our client *** *** *** for that matter, regarding any issues on this property since we made our repair and received paymentI personally called the *** on Thursday October 20, regarding the letter I received and he stated that he could not talk due to being out of townHe requested that I speak with the *** of *** *** ***. I called the *** and he said he has never heard D & D Roofing, LLCmentioned by the Homeowner in over two weeks regarding this jobThe *** said he would call the Homeowner and reach back to me within twenty-four hoursI have never heard back from either the *** or *** regarding trying to reach out to this HomeownerStill to this day I have never received any calls, texts, emails, or any other communications from the Homeowner about this roof or any issues he may or may not still haveIf our Company had heard from him we would have promptly responded.Thank you,*** ***D & D Roofing, LLC.*** ***

I am rejecting this response because: I have contacted *** *** *** with whom the contract for the work is with about the issue of the softball hole in the roof and the water leaking at the chimneyI have not received a resp0nse from *** regarding these issues, only a conversation stating a representative from ***would contact D&D and let me know the statusThere was also a severe issue which I did not mention in the previous email where D&D did not secure the flashing along the back side of my roof and rain water was streaming down the inside of my bedroom wallI made *** aware of the issue but had no choice but to repair this area on my own to avoid long term damageI have emails of all correspondence, as well as photo's and videos off all the leaks, holes wood root etcIf ***is not reaching out to D&D I request that D&D either contact ***to discuss these issues or they can contact me directly

They arrived timely to give me a fair estimate to side my house. I needed a new patio door so they also provided a fair quote on the installation. The door needed to be custom made so the install was delayed for the availability of the door. They started and ended in reasonable time. They cleaned up everything before they left. The foreman was very courteous and made helpful suggestions to make the project look great. I have been approached by several of my neighbors on how great the house looks. I highly recommended them. This is the second project they have done for me.

D & D Roofing did an excellent job on home and garage roofing and gutters. The crew was professional, did not leave any mess or debris and they finished in 2 days. I'm very happy with their service and pricing and highly recommend D & D Roofing!

Review: Contracter came out in Feb.2012 to repair leaking roof around skylight. I was informed I would not have any problem. August 27th had a bad rain storm and skylight area leaked. Contacted contracter's place of business the next day to honor his statement. His wife informed me he would call. He never did and subsequent calls I would get the recorder and no follow up calls todate which is Sept.5. Had more leakage with other storms. I am contacting another roofer as I can not put up with the lack of courtesy and responsibility of this contracter.Desired Settlement: would like other possible clients who would want the contracter's service to know of the lack of courtesy in returning calls to resolving my problem

I had contacted the wife I believe and she told me that the contractor would contact me that noon. This was Aug. 29th 2012 because I got the answering machine on the 28th after the storm on the 27th..No contact was ever received. Left my phone number several times on their answering machine and never received a comeback call or an explanation of what happened. I have an answering machine and they could have left a message. To date I have yet to receive a call . I have hired a different roofer and do not want the previous roofer to work on my roof ,period or to contact me because I do not need the aggravation. He could send me a refund via your orginazation.

The company had family medical problems and needed to visit family in the hospital for five business days.

They were unable to contact the consumer at that time.

They arrived home from vacation August 26 and could not hear messages on the answering machine, and they needed to buy a new one.

These were unforeseen circumstances.

There is no warranty on the repairs. They performed the repair assuming the leaks would not occur again.

Company does not satisfy my complaint. A simple call would have resolved the complaint had the contracted me the 29th per what his wife said.

Our roof was a complete tear off because we had the maximum layers of shingles. We had a four-day rain delay, but on the fifth day, which was a Friday, a crew of three men showed up exactly at 9:00 in the morning and started working without hesitation until nightfall.
This was going to be a two-day project for these men, but it rained Friday night into Saturday afternoon. On Saturday just as the rain stopped, there they were getting ready to work in the cold and fog. They stopped a little after dark and came back on Sunday to finish the job.
This crew worked tirelessly around weather that would not cooperate and they did a great job. If we had to do any other job, I would definitely ask for these three men because of the way they worked together to get a job done.

[redacted] came and gave me a very good review of the work to be done and a solid estimate. We booked a date for install and they started and ended on time, cleaned up everything to my satisfaction and it was like they were never here. [redacted] the foreman was awesome the crew was great, [redacted] communicated very well and the house looks great. Highly recommended from me. Thank you!

Highly recommend D & D roofing. Very satisfied with the work, job started and finished as promised pricing was very fair, attractive warranty and left the premise like they were never there.

I contracted D& D Roofing to re-roof my house in 2014, They were courteous, professional and did a wonderful job! The job was reasonably priced and done in a timely fashion! I would recommend them to anyone with confidence that they too will be satisfied!

[redacted] and his team are great! They did a wonderful job on my roof, gutters, and skylights installation. The team of guys that did the work were courteous and respectful to me and my family. I will look to use this company in the future.

D and D installed a roof on my home in Oct 2008. I have a 5yr. warranty . My roof started leaking 3 days ago. I can't get them to provide service.
The roof was installed 7 October 2008 by D and D Roofing. I have 5 year warranty on workmanship and a 30 year warranty on the shingles. My roof started leaking late Friday night, 22 Feb 2008. After 3 days of calling by myself, and my insurance agent ([redacted]), I have yet to receive a response to my urgent call. The water from the leak has caused damage in my home. I am 81 years of age so it is difficult for me to mitigate against issues of this nature. My insurance agent told me to connect you for assistance. My son-in-law is assisting me submitting this claim.
