***,Although the dealership was not liable for a warranty company that went out of business, the dealership reached out and worked out arrangements with the customer to both parties satisfactionThis issue should be resolved

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:The car was brought back to them within their time frame to address the engine noiseA year old car should not be sold if the engine is going to blow The warranty does not cover that issue.( Nor most issues) They were aware of the defect and sold a bad car

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:The noise the service department is speaking of is a completely UNRELATED issue, but since it was brought up, I will address it we had that diagnosed by other shops and didn't feel we needed to pay a diagnostic fee with Mazda because we already knew what the problem wasWe "passed the test," the first time we tried to get the control arms replaced (Mazda bulletin, ended up being a recall), so Mazda wouldn't replace them without charging usWhen we brought the car in this time for the brake power assist booster, we asked if they could replace the lower control arms at the same flame since it was now a recall. As far as the cruise control goes, if YOU break something while fixing another part, YOU should have to fix itI too own a business and would never ask a customer to pay for supplies I broke while making their orderAlso, we were never told we would get labor free of charge, only that it was going to cost us $to fix the cruise control. The 10% offer was only mentioned after I complained because we had NO wheel bearing issues until the car was worked on by the Mazda DealershipHow convenient that the wheel bearing just "randomly" went out after the car was worked onA 10% discount is not enough when we already spent $to fix problems.
Sincerely,

In reviewing the complaint *** *** is not a party to the contract nor was he present at the signing of the documentsIn either case DDahle Mazda does offer a day exchange but limits that exchange to only Used car purchases, and only for an equal or greater amountOn this deal we did
offer to exchange color but never was it said or is it a part of the contract that the customer would have the option to exchange for there trade inI recommend that the customer review carefully all of the legal documents and if there are further questions about them the parties on the contract will need to request that info. Mr *** and I have been in constant communication to try to help resolve his issue. Rob M***

I'm happy to provide what ever doc's he requires based on the timeline of events. My records show the deal was funded on the 5th and a payoff was overnighted on the 7th. I suspect that the late payment stems from a missed November payment and not the December Payment. But happy to look into it...

further if he would like to contact me.  Rob M[redacted]

Mr. [redacted] purchased a 10 year old Rav 4 with 91k miles on an as-is basis. During the completion of the paperwork Mr. [redacted] was offered a Extended Service contract that would have covered the repair, but he chose not to purchase one. Even though the car was sold As-Is with no warranty D. Dahle...

Mazda offered to cover half of the repair done in our shop. Our offer is more than fair and if Mr [redacted] chooses to have his mechanic put a used engine in his car he can do so at his own expense.

no charge if they bought the part. As far as the noise goes when the customer originally came in for the brake booster they complained about noise from the front end when turning. We have a standard diagnostic fee of $55.00 the customer declined having us address the noise. When they brought the vehicle back we inspected our recall repairs to make sure they were done correctly and they are. We then diagnosed the noise at no charge and advised the customer that they needed a wheel bearing and offered 10% off of the repairs.

Remote Key.
When I purchused the car for my daughter they never told me that the only key being sold with the car was a valet key, no remote key. That key is needed to work the alarm on the car. Also there is only one key hole on the driver side door an the key given does not open the truck. these details were never disclosed to me until we left. They expect me to pay 202.00 to get a key an program it. This I beleive this us unfair practice for them to not include the key details, and expect me to pay for one.
