I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
I was never made aware that the vehicle was "in for maintenance." I was never given a "discount price" of $I was just told the bike was being sold for $No one said anything at all about maintenance or anything like thatWhy would someone sell a bike to a person off of the street if they knew tat it was in for maintenanceMy opinion is that the guy thought "hmm, let me get rid of this as fast as I can." The bike stalled while the owner was riding it, but I thought nothing of it, as he was riding around like a madman and almost hit me anywaysI never ride like that so I figured it wouldn't perform that way for meThe owner of DE Twin Cam never eluded to the fact that he was wiling to speak to anyone about taking the bike back nor wanted to deal with any of the problems associated with this lemonThey shouldn't be selling bikes that they haven't fully fixed or inspectedI had a mechanic look at it and told me that right away the bike needed thousands in repairs. One employee DE Twin Cam said "that bike is allot of fun, don't hurt yourself on it", or something to that effectBasically, the customer is always right and the store made no effort or care to resolve this problemEven had the nerve to say "yea, we would consider buying it back, if it runs 100% and if we get a good deal on it." If this was a trail bike or another Enduro type bike, there would be little to no problems on itIt was a race bike and really not fit for sale to a customer off of the streetWhat's worse is he probably new that the piece of crap needed all this work before he sold itHe basically got rid of a ticking time bombThe owner should make better decisions about what type of vehicles that he brings in and the total hunks of crap that he sells from his place of businessBottom line, don't sell a customer a bike that needs $in repairs and then say "yea you got a good deal because brand new they run for about $8000." No one wants to hear that garbageStop selling broken down junk out of your storeLearn how to sell the right equipment to the right customerDon't have junk equipment on "consignment" that is really needing maintenance and should not be soldI travel for work and am never in the same place for more than a few weeks and am extremely busy with a professional practiceI cannot spend countless hours with motorhead oil monkeys going back and forth about what sy parts a piece of junk bike needsI just wanted a bike that ridesI got taken for $because the thing is in pieces and I got maybe rides out of it

for an off-road vehicle to purchase. I David [redacted] (owner) took care of [redacted] when he came in.l informed [redacted] that the Items that were for sale are consignment only and the purchase would be from customer selling the vechicle. I then proceeded to show [redacted] 4 wheeled vehicles, and [redacted] had his eye one dirt bike that was In for maintenance.The Kawasaki Dirt bike was In for new tires, and an 011 change. The customer/owner of the Kawasaki Dirt bike has many off road vehicles, and Is always looking to sell them. The Owner wanted $2.600 for his2006 Kawasaki 250 F dirt bike. I began to show [redacted] the dirt bike, and [redacted] made the decision to purchase the dirt bike. I sold the bike with permission of the owner on consignment "as Is· this purchase was made before the maintenance was made to the vehicle at a discount of $600.00. The vehicle was sold for $2,000.00 from the owner without the maintenance made to the vehicle. DE TwinCamPerformance only sells vehicles on consignment. They are always sold "As Is: DE Twin cam Performance will assist the customers In making the connection to buy/sell their vehicles, and does not stand behind the vehicles because they are owned by the customer.[redacted] contacted me about two months post purchase of the vehicle stating he wanted to purchase a coil that was broken from the removal of the spark plug. [redacted] purchased the toil over the phone. and It was mailed to him. If there was iii serious problem with the vehicle [redacted] made no effort to contact me.About 1 year later [redacted] contacted me again stating there were serious problems with the dirt bike, and It was costing him a lot of money- I told him that this purchase was made on consignment from a customer of mine and the purchase was made "as is," I then offered [redacted] to bring the vehicle by for me to as so I could contact original owner of the vehicle.The sporadic contact [redacted] made with De TwlnCam Performance gave us no opportunity to see how the vehicle was running. At no point In time did [redacted] ask me to reach out the original owner for a refund.When [redacted] purchased the vehicle he explained he had "little to no knowledge of dirt bikes" I explained to him that these vehicles need a lot of maintenance and this Is a 10 year aid dirt bike. New Kawasaki dirt bikes Cost approximately $8,000 plus set up and tax, and they need maintenance just like used ones. This purchase was made very well known, It was 10 year old vehicle, and it had not had it's maintenance done, this I, why It was at, discount. [redacted] stated that he would do maintenance to the vehicle and purchased -as is", When the vehicle left De TwinCam Performance It ran great.
