D & F Plumbing

D&F was the only plumbing company that called me back when I had an emergency. I was able to move from emergency to just an important need so didn't have to pay for emergency service.
They were able to schedule an appt within a week which is so rare with contractors. Joe came out to install a faucet and at the last minute I asked if they could replace an instant hot at the same time. They were able to accommodate that last minute request. It took a bit over 90 minutes to do the work including running out to get a part.
Joe was friendly and took the time to explain what he was doing. I have a decent amount of knowledge about plumbing so would be able to tell if he wasn't be straight or worse was being deceptive. He wasn't. In fact he was transparent and answer my questions simply and with respect.
I was thrilled with having a new faucet and instant hot and asked what it would take to replace the undermount sink. He was able to explain it to me and provide pricing if they provided the sink or if I purchased it.
I will use this company again.
I opted for 4 stars mostly due to their pricing. It was more than I expected but then given they actually showed up on time and provided outstanding service.

Steve did a fantastic job declogging our shower pipe. Besides being an excellent and knowledgeable plumber... he is very professional and a great communicator keeping us abreast of what was happening in the process! Would love to hire him back in the future!

I was entirely satisfied with the work that Steve S did today. he took care of a plugged sink drain quickly and replaced the faucet too. it was about as painless as could be, aside from writing the check and lost sleep imagining the worst. pay the man!

D & F did a fabulous job again! We have used them for our plumbing needs for many years. They are reliable, courteous, efficient, friendly and really know their plumbing. Every plumber that has come to do work at our house has been consistently good. You can trust that if you call D & F that your plumbing needs will be taken care of in the best way possible. I 'm not sure about whether or not their prices are good or bad. We never call anyone else so we don't have anything else to compare their prices to.

Highly recommend choosing a different company to do business with for several reasons. To start, they will misinform you of what they will charge you. I called for a simple sewer scope to be done to cost $119, which is about average or a little high for the industry. We agreed on a date and window if time when a plumber would arrive. The day of service to be done they called and canceled and said they were all booked up. Rescheduled for the next day during a 2-hour block from 10-12pm. The company made no effort to call me to let me know they would be extremely late. I called them at 1130am was told plumber was finishing up a job and should be on his way shortly and said he should have called me by now. Advised of no calls made. This plumber did not arrive until after 1pm…again not even a phone call by the office or the plumber. The plumber walks up and has no idea why he is there. I advised him of the requested service and attempt to charge me over $450 for a job that would take about 15 minutes. I advised him that is certainly not what the office told me the charge would be. I called the office back and they tell me the charge is just to have a plumber drive to your house…nothing else. This company is clearly trying to take advantage of uninformed people. I scheduled this service with another company for $99. ***I HOPE 1000’S OF PEOPLE READ THIS***PLEASE TAKE YOUR BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE***YOU WILL BE TREATED MUCH BETTER***THIS REVIEW ALONE WILL COST THIS COMPANY MORE THAN $119.

It was a pleasure to have the work done so professionally and timely. He solved the mystery of the dripping water, which had not been correctly identified until today. This guy knows his business and he does it well! I will always call D & F for my plumbing needs! He even cleaned up before he left. It looks like nothing ever happened! Good job!

Although the technician did not arrive within the allotted time and we had to call, when he did arrive he was courteous, listened to all of our issues and completed the work in a timely manor. Then when the toilet kept running he returned the same day we called and fixed again.

The plumbers Aaron and Ben from D&F were fabulous. They did a total plumbing replacement on all our pipes in a 1966 condo. They were prompt and thorough. I have full confidence that their work will stand the test of time. They cleaned up all of the mess which was substantial and, we passed inspection with flying colors. This is the second time we have used this company and I would definitely use them again.
