I pawned my gun and went to pay it off and they told me I needed an IN drivers license to get it back. They sold my gun after signing WON'T PULL PAWN
I went into Worldwide Pawn to pawn my Winchester Shotgun on 12/12/12,[redacted] took my SD drivers license and didn't inform me that I needed an IN driver's license to get it back. I was also informed that he was fired soon after. I went back on the due date on 3/12/13 to pay off the gun and get it back, that's when they informed my that I needed my IN driver's license to get the gun back, so I paid the interest of [redacted] They said it was their mistake and were not going to charge me interest on the gun along with signing my pawn ticket saying they would not pull the pawn. I came back in on 4/16/13 and paid [redacted] on it because I was having problems getting my birth certificate. [redacted], the manager, said that's find just get it ASAP. I called today to see when it was due and inform them that I was getting my driver's license on Friday and they said they had pulled the pawn and sold my gun. I assumed that if I had a signed note from the manager saying they wouldn't pull the pawn that it was legit but I called the corporate office and was told that there was nothing they could do about it and weren't even sorry for their mistake. It was invalid. I wasn't informed about anything even when I paid the [redacted] on the gun and was told today that I had to pay [redacted] for fees which I was told wouldn't be added to the pawn. The gun was a gift to me and had sentimental value to me and now they won't even try to make this right. I don't think that it is right for a company to be dishonest and not stand by a written agreement that was signed and dated. I think that the company should give you every piece of information you deserve to know.
