charge a diagnose fee for an estimate they had already giving me.
On 11/19/13 I took my car in for an estimate on an issues with the car, the total written amount $175.97 for control arm bushing and bushing-lower one. I stop the shop on 2/16/14 to see when they could work on the car, I was told to bring the car in on 2/19/14.
When I arrived they took the car in within 15 minutes I was told by [redacted] that they had receive the wrong part and that it would cost me an extra 100.00 to get the arm, I told [redacted] I did not have an extra 100.00,,She then told me that the mechanic had already cut the part off, and that I would have to leave the car there for two in order for the right part to come in, I told her that I could not leave my for two.

She later told me that the mechanic had not cut the part off, but she would have to charge me 70.00, and I said for what, she stated it was for diagnose, I said what you? already had check the issue out that why I had an estimate I paid the 70.00 in order to get my car back....I have dealt with for over a year have taken all my cars to them, and I never been charge a fee for them to check out an issue...nor do they have anything posted to that effect, I was very shocked

On August 24, 2013 I took my 2003 S-Type Jaguar with (71,ooo miles) in to D & H Automotive to have it inspected because I had what I thought might be a coolant leak, I was told by [redacted], the manager/owner that I needed a new radiator $400 plus the Labor $300. I explained to [redacted] that I could see a metal piece that I thought the leak was coming from and was told if that metal is also broken that metal piece would be $100.00 to replace. when I came to pick up my car I was told by [redacted] that he replaced the radiator. When I opened the hood of my car to see my new radiator, I noticed I had the same radiator I had when I brought my car in to be repaired. And the metal piece, I originally thought was the cause of the leak, had been replaced. This metal piece is not even connected to the radiator, [redacted] didn't mention anything about the metal piece being replaced. I questioned [redacted] about this and he told me the radiator was cracked. I asked [redacted] to show me my old radiator so I could see the cracks as to better understand what repairs were needed; he informed me that the old radiator was thrown away. I asked him why he had thrown my radiator away when I wanted to see it, plus the work is just done. I asked him to show me the receipt for the new Radiator then he said no because that is between Him and the shop he bought the radiator from. I asked if there was a warranty on the repairs done to my car and was told by [redacted] there was a one-year warranty. I asked for a copy of the warranty paperwork and was told in order to get a copy, he would need to give me a receipt and to get a receipt, I would need to pay an additional $66.00 (tax). Under protest, I paid the additional in order for me the get my car keys from him and test drive the car. I told [redacted] I was not happy with the service I had received and that I would pursue legal action if needed. while test driving the car I noticed that when I turn the A/C on, the two front were blowing A/C and the two sides and the back are blowing Heat. 10 minutes later I returned to [redacted] and He told me that because I don't trust him also that I had mentioned possible legal action against him, he would not inspect my car to see why after he had worked on my Jaguar the air conditioner was now blowing hot air.
