I was given great confidence in DH Pace Overhead doors by several referrals. I was impressed by their professionalism. I asked them to come to my home, make a door recommendation, and submit a quote. They spent some time showing me different door materials and designs, and I picked on. They came out again, to help me pick out the color, and the accessory hardware. I WAS VERY SPECIFIC ABOUT ASKING FOR THE TOTAL PRICE WITH HINGE HARDWARE! They told me it would take several days to get the prices for the hardware, since they had to order it from some other location. About 2 weeks later, they gave me their quote which I naturally assumed included the hardware, since I was EXTREMELY specific about that. Because I trusted them so much I didn't look over the quote and sure enough, scribbled about halfway down was a note "Hardware Not Included". Had I known this I would not have purchased the doors, as they were about 2/3 more expensive than [redacted] or [redacted]. They tricked me and used my trust to sneakily get a job, then they came back later and said, "Oh, the hardware will be an extra $4400". Absolutely no WAY I would every trust these people again. [redacted] and [redacted] are completely responsible for this customer never trusting them again, and I've told this story to everyone who asks, to at least 3 other neighbors who were looking for doors, I've put it on several bulletin boards and discussion groups, told my family and everyone where I work. I figure I've cost them at least $50,000 in lost business all because they tried to be sneaky and disingenuous when dealing with me.

Our first appointment was November 1, 2013. It is now December 9, 2013. We were told by the technician that the door we ordered could be in stock, or would take 2 weeks to come in for installation, and that we would receive a phone call to make an appointment for installation. We never did. I called on November 29 to check on the status- the door had come in. I made the appointment for installation for Monday, December 9 @9:00. After taking off of work to be here for the install, and waiting until 9:30, I called the office- they had the appointment made for Wednesday, December 11.
