I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.They said it would cost me $for the hitch on the 17th of May but days later I was charged $and I had no other choice but to pay it, they took advantage of me by ordering the hitch late, then they knew we had a deadline and had no other choice so they charged around $more then what they actually paid for it. They said we would get a military discount that didn't happen either, plus they delayed our trip additional days costing my father in law days of work. This is a very sad response from this company

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.They said it would cost me $188.00 for the hitch on the 17th of May but 5 days later I was charged $479.00 and I had no other choice but to pay it, they took advantage of me by ordering the hitch late, then they knew we had a deadline and had no other choice so they charged around $291.00 more then what they actually paid for it.  They said we would get a military discount that didn't happen either, plus they delayed our trip 2 additional days costing my father in law 2 days of work.  This is a very sad response from this company.

Vehicle taken to this shop on 11/20/2013 to repair a leak in the fuel filter housing and an oil and filter change. We were able to pick up the truck at 5:00 p.m. that same day. Once we arrived home we checked the oil level in the truck and realized there were two (2) quarts too much. My husband and our son then drained some of the oil from the vehicle and noticed that the color of the oil was very black and also that the filter was the same used for our previous oil change and not the new one listed on our receipt. It is clear more oil was added but the oil was not drained, new oil then put in and the filter was not changed.

Regarding the fuel housing filter leak and the replacemnt of gaskets listed on the receipt....we know the purchase was made as we checked with [redacted] Ford and they verified the purchase was made by the auto repair shop but it does not appear the screws in the housing were removed (still dirty and greasy and undisturbed) which must be removed in order to replace the gaskets. We were able to establish that a new one inch piece of hose and two clamps were replaced. The only way to verify without a doubt that the gaskets were or were not replaced would be to pay another shop to remove the fuel filter housing and check.
