THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!!! I have a customer here in NH that was hospitalized for surgery due to cancer At sometime during his out of state hospitalization his Waterco Hydrostorm pool pump failed His pump had been out of service for a week and we needed to get the pump up and running before the pool turned into a green swamp Unfortunately, Waterco does not have a supplier here in the northeast I spoke with the northeast sales manager, his name is [redacted] with Waterco regarding parts or a whole pump replacement and he suggested going online I found Aqua Man pools and spas They had the exact pump listed on their website I called and asked if they had it in stock This was after hitting just about every option on Aqua mans phone menu After finally getting through to someone, I was told they had it in stock I was directed to place an order online for my initial order (and my last order) I did this, paid for day shipping since this was a rush, and then called later that afternoon (about 4pm mountain time-their time zone) and left messages on different mail boxes I was unable to speak with anyone nor did I receive a return phone call Tuesday I called several times, left emails, and checked the status of the order frequently throughout the day NO RESPONSES, nor had the pump shipped Today, wednesday; I placed phone calls to Aqua man, left voice mails, sent emails and finally called and left voice mails and an email cancelling the order NOW THE ORDER STATUS SHOWS AS BEING SHIPPED!! However, Fedex has only received the shipping info......not the package It's been hours since I made those phone calls and sent the email I sent the email and phone calls cancelling at noon eastern time IF YOU WANT A COMPLETE LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE, AQUA MAN IS IT!! DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM ONLINE!!!

THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!!! I have a customer here in NH that was hospitalized for surgery due to cancer. At sometime during his out of state hospitalization his Waterco Hydrostorm pool pump failed. His pump had been out of service for a week and we needed to get the pump up and running before the pool turned into a green swamp. Unfortunately, Waterco does not have a supplier here in the northeast. I spoke with the northeast sales manager, his name is [redacted] with Waterco regarding parts or a whole pump replacement and he suggested going online. I found Aqua Man pools and spas. They had the exact pump listed on their website. I called and asked if they had it in stock. This was after hitting just about every option on Aqua mans phone menu. After finally getting through to someone, I was told they had it in stock. I was directed to place an order online for my initial order (and my last order). I did this, paid for 2 day shipping since this was a rush, and then called later that afternoon (about 4pm mountain time-their time zone) and left 2 messages on different mail boxes. I was unable to speak with anyone nor did I receive a return phone call. Tuesday I called several times, left emails, and checked the status of the order frequently throughout the day. NO RESPONSES, nor had the pump shipped. Today, wednesday; I placed 3 phone calls to Aqua man, left voice mails, sent 2 emails and finally called and left 2 voice mails and an email cancelling the order. NOW THE ORDER STATUS SHOWS AS BEING SHIPPED!! However, Fedex has only received the shipping info......not the package. It's been 6 hours since I made those phone calls and sent the email. I sent the email and phone calls cancelling at noon eastern time.
IF YOU WANT A COMPLETE LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE, AQUA MAN IS IT!! DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM ONLINE!!!

Placed a simple online order for a single gasket, very light, $5.00 item. Online ordering resulted in the total item cost of $5, tax of .30, and shipping of $7.20. Obviously we all compare online purchases based on total price (including tax, and most critically, shipping costs.) Based on the total of $12.50, Aquaman appeared to have best total price for the item we needed. I printed out the summary from the site - good thing, because this is what followed: First problem - never received an email confirmation of any sort. Never received a shipping confirmation of any sort. Started calling, can only leave a message, no humans answer, to try and simply make sure the order in fact went through and that the item was indeed on its way to me. No response, no email, no phone call. By third and fourth day, left messages on any extension I could reach at their number, as again, all you can do is leave a message. Noone actually answers, and I simply needed to know if the item was on it's way or not! NEVER DID get a phone call back, but by day 5 got an email noting item had shipped and noting a total shipping cost of $9.35, for a total amount charged of $14.65! (an increase of $2.15?) There was NOTHING on their website that indicated the total I had agreed to pay was an estimate, that shipping was subject to change, or anything of the sort, and I have NEVER had a company change a confirmed total paid online after the fact. When I emailed them back (in response to the email with the 'new' invoice and new total), I got a response that indicated that shipping costs change everyday and that is why the amount went up $2.15! The item is virtually weightless, so basically sending a small padded envelope, and from Tucson, AZ to [redacted], AZ! And sent via regular United States Postal Service! Yet the company is claiming 1) that they can change the amount they charge AFTER you make your online purchase, after indicating set amounts that customer had already paid them (WHAT??) AND 2) that the cost to mail something by regular US mail changed from the order date to some five days later when they mailed it, and went from $7.20 to $9.35? Ridiculous. As other reviewers or complaints have noted, the company does not answer their phone, does not return messages, does not send clear email confirmations or any of the normal things you expect to know that an online order has gone through properly and that shipping can be expected at a certain time, AND in our case they also changed the shipping costs arbitrarily and for no apparent reason (nor with permission) whatsoever, claiming the price for regular USPS mail of a tiny item, from Southern Arizona to Northern AZ, changed within a five day period and increased almost 25%? This meant that other vendors online ultimately had the item for a better total price than Aquaman, but since they just changed the amount we agreed to pay and charged us a higher price AFTER the fact, we couldn't know that or purchase from the most competitive vendor. Yes, the issues were horrible communication, no email confirmation or clarity of shipping time/ETA, noone answering phone, and jacking up the shipping $2.15 (not huge this time, but what if had been a larger item, larger shipping discrepancy?). I requested that they simply reimburse us the $2.15 increased amount that they charged, noting their website does not indicate that the shipping and handling cost is variable, is approximate, or any such term, and continuing to push how they can change the total amount billed in the original order, without any response. Less than impressed with this company and will not deal with them again.
