We rented elmo, cookie monster and mickey mouse for our party and the costumes were great!

To my family and friends do not rent from D&J Costume store 7516 Frankford Avenue they are very nasty to their customers they take deposit money from you over the phone and dont give you a confirmation email or number.The store owner Derek L** then came into the store insulting me about my age and told me take him to small claims court and slapped a paper on the counter with the courts address on there and told me to get out of his store because I was unhappy with his product and I wanted my deposit back. No where on the website does it say deposits are non refundable.If you have been in business for 19 year you should know on your webpage where it says NO REFUNDS you designed the page.His store worker which im assuming is a family member or maybe his wife Jocelyn L** then started to insult me and when I said something back she lifted a hanger to swing it at me.It got so bad in the store with insults the police had to be called.Derek L** even threaten he knew where I lived and read my address back to me off of a receipt he made up with my card info on there.The police then told Derek L** it was illegal to take money from someone and dont give a receipt or confirmation number. They had the same costumes since they opened thats how old they looked.They were brushing the costumes with wired dog brushes.The mickey mouse ears were held on by velcro and all of the costumes were outfits put together from the thrift store.The goofy costume was so out of date it didnt even have whiskers or teeth.The costumes looked so bad they look like the first dog to ever hit the warehouse.He bad mouthed other companies and then tried to get on the phone with the same company and bad mouth me so they wouldnt rent to me.Hes even bad mouthing Sweet and sassy pink limousine under one of his pictures on his page.The costumes are very over priced and out of date dont waste your money or time they were very very unproffessional.They ruined my babies party.DONT EVER RENT FROM HERE TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW
