In 2013, we interviewed several contractors to replace our back patio. Joe's bid came in a little higher than the others, but we hired him because he said he has been in the concrete business for 37 years. Everything went smooth and we loved the final product. Within 3 days, the cracks started coming. He had a contractor caulk the cracks that were wide enough and said he would bring him back later in the summer to finish caulking any other cracks. He never returned and the cracks continued to spread and new ones formed.
We spoke in early February about the situation and he said he would come back out to look at the porch. We called him in April, May and today, and he is obviously not interested in seeing our porch or getting the cracks caulked for us like he said he would. Regardless of what he says, there is no warranty with his work.
After having other professionals look at our porch, it was clear he did not put enough cuts and did a shoddy job.
