I took my Pomeranian into the Aquarium Pet store in Wisconsin Rapids today to get a bath, hair dried, hair cut, ear cleaning, nail trim/file, anal gland check, and teeth brushed. When my husband came home with my dog he informed me that he had paid 56 dollars for the treatments; which I would had been fine with had I not seen the state of my dog. His hair was cut completely uneven, they did not trim around his paws, his teeth had food still in them, he was still wet, he was shedding lumps of fur, and his nails were still sharp/uneven/bleeding. He also would not respond to my husband, my friend, or myself; he would not make any noise or get up to walk. My friend and I called the Aquarium to complain/ask for our money back and the women we spook to told us that the groomer was new and had already had several complaints made about her; and that she would have the owner call us. The owner called us back and refused to refund our money, she also denied the groomer having had any other complaints, she denied the groomer did anything wrong, and she told me the only thing she would do was have the same groomer cut my dogs hair again.... which I refused, I then told her I would be letting everyone on Facebook know what she had allowed her groomer to do without refunding me; she told me to go ahead and promptly hung up on me. Please do not take your animals to the Aquarium, I have never been this unhappy about a local business in my life.
