D & J Mobile Home Transport Reviews (1)
The mobile home moving company was moving my 16x80 mobile home from Grants NM to Lindrith NM during the 200 mile move they dropped my home twice (2) on the highway while travling at 50 mph. Then they dropped in one (1) more time on the new site. The mover had difficulty moving the home onto the home site, so he left my mobile home sitting 100 feet from the site and left. On the following day he sent two (2) workers to weld a new tounze on my home but he never came back until my husband called him he then refused to bring his moving truck back out to move my home onto the site. My husband had to locate someone with a loader to come out and move the home onto the site before the rains came. The mover came out later that afternoon with a regular truck and assisted his workers in hooking up the water & sewer. The individual with the loader charged us $500.00 to move the home onto the site. The mobile home mover $2300.00 to move the home onto the site & hook it up. The mover wanted another $500 but my husband refused. After getting the house set we discovered broken water lines and damaged walls & windows, and electrical shorts through out the house. I am now paying an electrican to repair those damages. All of the damage was caused when the mover dropped my home on the highway.
